We stayed one night we was in Dallas for a fun evening and a training the next day. The hotel staff was great very helpful. We really liked the way the place was decorated. We had room service bring us lunch and it was great and did not take long to get. We had a great time and loved the...

This hotel was beautiful, clean and very welcoming. My room was large and updated with a lot of modern amenities. The only thing I was somewhat disappointed in was the food. For it being such a great hotel, I was surprised that they only had one BBQ restaurant in the hotel for guests with very little to choose from on...

Good location and nice rooms. My only complaint about the room was that you couldn't see the tv well from one of the beds because it was located behind the post. Wonderful roof top pool area! Probably the highlight of hotel. Breakfast at the Rodeo Bar was good when we finally got it. All who arrived after us came and...

Thank you for staying with us and for the review. While we're happy you found the hotel to be nice, we do apologize if we failed to meet your expectations in any way. Great location downtown, old world elegance and updated/well appointed to keep the history. Rooms are very well done and up to the new Marriott standards. I was very impressed with the remodel/upgrades and cleanliness of the hallways and rooms.

Pro's: elegance, clean, good hot-water & pressure, large rooms, nice people Con's: poor communication between staff, left-hand doesn't know what right hand is doing, therefore they drop the ball on many things or duplicate them i.e. housekeeping, room-service, valet-parking, bellman-services. Note: Management tries to make it right when you notify them of bad service.

Marriott has opened this wonderful old building as a boutique hotel. Still working out the kinks but it's quite nice. Large rooms. Classic decor. I wish we had more time to hang around the commons and Lobby. It was a nice romantic getaway in a good downtown location. Our corner room was comfy and overly spacious, worth a try but...

Great Location in the heart of downtown Dallas. Rooms are very nice with more then enough space. Historic building with older elevators and escalators. Hotel is undergoing some restoration so no real place within hotel for meals besides room service or up at pool bar. All in all a good hotel and part of Marriott autograph collection. Would love to...

Spent an amazing spring day in downtown Dallas at this rooftop pool. It's elegant yet family-friendly. Don't miss this chefs special cocktail concoction. I had an amazing piña colada that was for once not too sweet and very refreshing. Try the push pops of blood orange raspberry and lemon sorbet. I wouldn't pass the ice cream sandwiches either. Very clean and comfortable room. I have not been there since their renovation. Very well done. Hallway a bit confusing as it winds around but overall experience was quite nice. Great location for downtown.
