Pros: Convenient location Free parking Friendly, helpful front desk staff Nicely decorated Good size mini fridge in room Pool area looked nice Cons: The room was not as well maintained (broken sliding door to bathroom) or as clean (very dirty floor) as I would have expected for this level of hotel. There are no ice makers on floors - must go to front desk to get ice Poor enforcement of mask wearing throughout hotel (not at the front desk though) Exceptionally poor waitstaff service in lobby restaurant (so bad that we got up and left) One of the rear entrance doors from the parking lot had a card reader that wasn’t working at all

Had an excellent time at the hotel - extended stay in a large suite. Staff were courteous and helpful - enjoyed the food and bar atmosphere - but wish they would decrease the volume of live performers - drove us to leave the hotel and seek to eat / drink elsewhere on several occasions - was overwhelming. Location is convenient. Pool and outdoor area nice - easy access to walk to trail and other restaurants / SMU. Enjoyed my suite but it really was lacking a microwave (which is a usual standard in similar rooms at all other places I have stayed) - dishes and plates and no way to re-heat anything I bought or ordered. Food was very good. Wait staff and bartenders very nice. Overall - would (and have) recommended.

Dear NikkitheTexasDoc, We appreciate you leaving feedback from your recent stay with us. I’m glad that you enjoyed your stay and some of the amenities we have to offer. However, my apologies for the volume levels from the live music being played in our lounge and also that there wasn’t a microwave in your room. Once again, thanks so much for your review and choosing to stay at the Beeman! Kind regards, Will Anderson Director of Rooms

We were looking for an affordable place to stay for one night in the downtown area. Beeman popped up on our search for nearly $100 less than others in the area. We were hesitant to book-so we drove down to make sure it was not a dive. It is GORGEOUS. Safe parking, beautiful hotel, exceptional staff. Room was small-but clean and comfortable. Exactly what we were looking for. The restaurant/bar was very inviting and we enjoyed a beer before bed. I would absolutely recommend and would stay here again.

I am so disappointed in the service and staff, especially in the bar/ restaurant. Been staying at this hotel for travel for 3 years. It was always an amazing stay. Until recently, everything has changed, the price went up and the friendliness, helpfulness, and service of the staff is lacking. Management is terrible now. If that does not bother you then this is the hotel to stay. It is clean, comfy, nice amenities, and beautiful set up.

Room was tiny, only had one chair (a rolling desk chair), and no towel rack to hang your towel on. For $172/night, I think a guest should be able to be provided w free coffee in the morning versus $4.00 for a cup of coffee. Great location proximate to SMU.
