We stayed at the Inn because it was conveniently located next door to the restaurant we had our wedding reception but we loved everything about it! The check in process was fast and Sebastian the owner was super accommodating he let us check in early, let us used the whole downstairs area for the reception decorations and prep, and my...

We really enjoyed our stay at the Locust Street Inn (formerly Heritage Inns, formerly Redbud Inn). The place has a lot of names, but one thing is certain: If you have to stay the night in Denton for any reason, or are looking for a fun weekend getaway from Big D, This is the place to stay. We stayed in...

The only thing that could have made our wedding weekend at Locust Street Inn more perfect is if I got to ride in on a unicorn pegasus and land directly in front of the gazebo. It was honestly THAT perfect. Sebastian & Elizabeth are such professionals and made sure everything went off without a hitch. They even completely surprised us...

Small, efficient room, nicely decorated. Fast check-in. You must be independent and not looking for any assistance whatsoever from the Inn. Bring your own bottled water, ice and everything except breakfast. Food was good and prepared to order.

Pros- The B and B is very close to the square. The rooms were clean (albeit a few hairs in our bathroom sink, ick) but everything else was fine. There's free water bottles in the upstairs landing which was appreciated. There are many sitting areas that were great to hang out with the family. Tons of books to look through,...

We were warmly greeted when we arrived by the owner Sebastian. He also served as concierge as well, recommending restaurants, shows and shops based on our interests. The breakfast was wonderful, I had the traditional crepe, they also have hot homemade bagels. We spent lots of time in the parlor area playing cards and visiting with friends. I've never felt...

My wife and I were looking for a place to reconnect with old friends. For 2 days and nights, we hung out with 2 other couples, played games and talked in a comfortable and quaint downstairs parlor. Sebastian the inn keeper was very accommodating but not intrusive. The bedroom itself was fun, funky and comfortable. Each morning we enjoyed a...

I recently had the (dis)pleasure of staying at the Locust Street Inn (Nov 6-8, 2015) for my sister's wedding. After reading great reviews, my sister and her (now) husband chose the Inn as the location for their wedding reception and as the 'home base' for the duration of the weekend. Roughly six months ago, they met with the proprietor and...

I'll put my love for the building aside. For starters, $130 a night, and, no hot water? Couldn't bathe? UGH, won't be back. The picture at the top of the TripAdvisor site is, no, not what you will find. The room/ site/ services were dirty/ not maintained well.

We passed by this place twice before finding it. It now looks very little from the front like this picture. It now is run down and looks shabby from the outside. The inside has also seen better days. There is a difference between "shabby chic" and shabby. This place has become the latter. Downstairs in badly need of a good...

“I stayed in the oak room, and the innkeeper told me it was his favorite -- but then perhaps they all are. You can't miss, whatever your selection. Although on a main street, I never really noticed the traffic.”
