We chose this hotel as we were flying into DFW and planned to use the train from the airport and also to visit Dallas later in our stay. We stayed for 4 nights and found the location excellent, the station is just 5 minutes walk away while the Orange Line bus stop was just down the road which gave us an efficient ( and free in October) ride to and from the Fort Worth Stockyards (well worth a visit). The hotel is clean and modern with helpful reception staff, indoor pool and large lobby area. Breakfast was basic but adequate while the room was reasonably sized with comfortable beds. Our only criticism would be the lack of safe in the room, however, we took advantage of the safety deposit boxes at reception but would prefer it to be in room. Plenty of restaurants within 5-10 minutes walk of the hotel.

It's $32 a day to park in the parking garage connected to hotel that they do NOT tell you until you arrive. When asked where we would park the guy said on the street which means you have to come out EVERY 2 hours and pay the meter or go find a place down the road. Oh how convenient....LOL

This was my first business trip in more than a decade. I used to be a road warrior and Hilton was always my preferred brand so I looked up the Hilton properties in Fort Worth. I settled on the Hampton Inn & Suites on Commerce Street because of the proximity to the office location and restaurants for dinner in the evenings. The area around the hotel was under construction but it honestly wasn't bad because it seemed to limit the amount of traffic in the area. There is a secure parking garage that provides access directly into the hotel. Since I was a female traveling alone, I very much appreciated the security. The trip was last minute so I ended up booking a suite instead of a single room and it was amazing. Everything was spotless and very spacious. The breakfast selections in the morning were much more extensive than other Hamptons I have stayed at in the past. It was overall a very nice stay and I would definitely return.

Arrived at 8pm and the doors were locked but a guest lets us in. No one at reception, after few minutes two people came out and proceeded to shout over to the bartender that they had pizza left (obviously they had been busy eating when we arrived) We were given our keys and that was it no info unless we asked a specific question. Found the room which was large but basic. Bathroom very clean and Complimentary shampoo/conditioner. Bed - large comfortable bed with a crinkle style duvet cover (strange for a hotel) Hair on my pillowcase long dark hair which certain didn’t belong there Coffee maker in the room which I have to say was the yuk weak, no taste cheap, By the way giving 4 sachets of coffee with 2 sugar 2 crème is a little silly Saving grace is that we found you can get complimentary coffee in the lobby almost 24hrs Breakfast- basic variety Fruit, pastries, some cooked (bacon was mainly fat) , nice cheese omelette. 2nd day (Sat) plates and cups had been changed to paper and plastic cutlery. Laundry facilities on level 4 were very handy , info says you can buy detergent from shop in lobby but they didn’t have any but pointed out a store was 4blocks away, $1 wash$1 dry which was reasonable. Gym was small but fine with cardio and free weights (dumbbells) Housekeeping was hit and miss Bed was never changed in 5days and cleaning was very minimal with stains on coffee tray and sink not cleaned. Plenty of sockets including usbs Overall it was a handy

The staff is friendly. Hotel is clean and the rooms are comfortable. Rooms were also lightly cleaned everyday with fresh towels. Ample covered, secure parking. Breakfast buffet was good. There were many choices and was set up smart - as in multiple coffee bars, waffle makers and toasters so you didn’t have to wait long. The hot stations were always full and hot. Didn’t get a chance to check out the pool or gym but it is also available. Lots of walking options to restaurants. Also, reasonable priced!

My wife and I checked in February 16, 2023. Front desk place us on the 4th floor and told me there was construction going on, but we will not be affected. When we got out off the elevator of the 4th floor, there were blowers that where running loud. We found our room and got inside and closed the door but we can still hear the blowers on. They should have just closed the whole 4th floor. Got a different room in the 5th floor, but early morning construction beside the hotel woke us up. They should warn customers that there is construction in the next building. Lastly, we went and roam around Sundance square in the morning and when we went back to our room around 9am, we found our room with towels, bed covers and blankets removed and ready for someone to pick up. Trash was already picked up. Housekeeping started cleaning our room, without us checking out. I complained in the front desk and they said that it is policy to knock on the door and if there is no answer they will come in and clean the room. If I was still sleeping at 9am and someone knocks on my door then they wake me up. If I don't answer the door due to being a heavy sleeper, they will get in the door and will see me still sleeping. Isn't that tresspassing and invasion of privacy? This is not what I expect for this type of hotel. I paid for the room until 11am or check out time. If this is really the policy as front desk claimed, then Hampton Inn has a problem. If this is not your policy, then you need to re-train your staff (front desk and housekeeping). You invaded my privacy by cleaning the room that I paid for until 11am or until I checked out. If other customers don't check out, then you need to wait until 11am to clean their rooms. You ruined the last leg of our vacation and violated us by invading our privacy.

The complimentary breakfast experience was absolutely delightful, with a particular highlight being the charming Texas-shaped waffles that left a lasting impression on us. Our accommodations exceeded expectations in terms of cleanliness, ensuring our stay was both comfortable and refreshing. The hotel's strategic location perfectly complemented our trip, allowing us easy access to a plethora of dining options and entertainment activities.
The lobby was a true visual delight, exuding a contemporary and fashionable ambiance that instantly caught our attention. Our visit even presented us with the opportunity to capture some stunning Instagram-worthy moments, thanks to the captivating metal Texas sign and the tasteful cow-print decorations.
The hotel's prime location also meant that we could explore an array of excellent restaurants and exciting attractions, all within a convenient walking distance. Moreover, the standout feature of our stay was undoubtedly the exceptional hotel staff, who exhibited a level of hospitality that stood out in my extensive travel experiences.

The staff at this hotel are next level. Really amazing staff!!! It’s well located in Sundance square. Hotel is clean and fresh. Breakfast is great. We really enjoyed our time.
Few quirks:
The pool is big and designed for any age. However, it’s hot (!!) in the pool area if you’re not swimming. And it just doesn’t seem to be ventilated well. So if you’re a parent watching your kids poolside, be prepared.
There is a bar here but no restaurants. It’s super easy and inexpensive to order through something like DoorDash or UberEats If you don’t want to walk to the very close and very diverse restaurants nearby.
Our room didn’t have a bathtub. The shower is big and nice. This wasn’t an issue for our family because we have bigger kids. But it could be an issue if you’re traveling with small children. Maybe ask if there is a room option with a tub if you have small kids.
The pull out couch is actually very comfortable but only has a very thin blanket and one pillow in the room. You can easily request more: Again, amazing, attentive staff that will bring you whatever you need.
Our room faced a construction area and there are really bright lights on all night. The light leaks around the curtains. If you’re sensitive to light in your room, I would mention this to the staff at check in.
There is one elevator that is also accessible by cleaning and maintenance. I think that when they (house keeping, etc) access this elevator, it overrides it. I was on a full elevator of families going to the pool on level one. It stopped at the second floor (seems to be for cleaning staff. The numbers have an R next to them) and instead of going to floor one, it immediately shot back up to floor 8. I had several similar experiences in that elevator so I tried to avoid it when possible.

We were visiting for a Kenny Chesney Concert at ATT Stadium & wanting to go to the Stockyards so it was a perfect location! Visited one of my favorite's, Cattlemen's Steak House, for a chicken fried steak with double mash potatoes and lots of cream gravy. There were 6 of us so we ordered an Uber+ for $35 to get there but of course coming back after the concert it was around $100. but well worth it since the cheapest parking that I could find on the website was $60. with a far walk. We got back to the Inn about 1:30am and the staff was very accomodating in fixing us up with late night snacks. Awoke Sunday had the complemenary breakfast which was sufficient. Very friendly staff during our short stay!

Great Location, convenient to Dickies arena and great restaurants. Great Staff, so friendly and upbeat, they love their job and it shows. Clean and Comfortable, the lobby and rooms were very nice! The hotel was perfect for me and one of my girlfriends to stay at for The Judds concert at Dickies Area this last weekend. The bed, bedding, and pillows were so comfortable! Loved that it was a gated parking garage, we felt safe parking and walking into the hotel. And bonus breakfast the next morning! Now that is how you take care of your guests!!! Will stay here again!!
