We loved our stay at this beautiful historic house. Everything was perfect. It's located in a very quiet walkable neighborhood just south of and minutes from downtown Fort Worth. We walked to a pretty cool brewpub for dinner (Bearded Lady) and a good concert venue (Tulips) and back home for a total of a very easy one and a half miles.
In the morning, we had delicious coffee and a pretty spectacular array of Danish pastries was served.
Plenty of free parking was there on the street right in front of the house. Couldn't be any more convenient than that.
The hosts live in a separate apartment right there on the lot and texted us as arriving guests telling us if there was anything we needed just let them know. Super nice folks. We sure hope to visit again

My previous Texas trips have all involved hotels as large as the state, so it was a relief and a luxury to be referred to the Three Danes in on my first visit to Fort Worth. With only five adults-only rooms, this is a comfortable intimate stay where I truly felt at home. Mouthwatering Danish pastries were always out to enjoy, and I loved discussions with the family who own the inn as well as other guests who mention they return frequently. I can see why!

Erna Marks along with her daughter Darlene and her husband Jim own and run this phenomenal B&B. The two-story Maxwell-Liston house was built in 1904 and is listed on the Texas Historic Landmark Homes.
Darlene runs a bakery out of the tiny kitchen and sells to the public from the side entrance. She sets out free pastries and savory breakfast rolls for staying guests. The lace covered tables under a crystal chandelier create a beautiful morning atmosphere. You will hear Darlene working behind the sliding wood doors. She comes out frequently and interacts with you on a first name basis. She is such a beautiful person.
Jim will greet you at the door the day of your arrival. He'll offer to carry your bags, hold the door and anything to make your stay delightful. You will see and interact with Jim the whole stay. He works around the house and is a gem of a person to sit and chat with.
The house is beautifully old with creaky wood stairs, small stoops and era appropriate furniture. A wrap-around porch completes the experience. I sat out there one morning for over an hour in a rocking chair reading a book and drinking coffee.
I highly highly recommend this place. Darlene and Jim make the difference. You cannot find more polite and delightful people anywhere that want to make your stay the best it can be. The house is mostly common areas open to all the guests, but each room is rented out separately. You will have a separate key to just your room with a second key to let you in the front door of the house.
Darlene and Jim, thank you for the best weekend for my wife's birthday. We will be sharing the word with our circle of friends.

3Danes Inn was our best experience ever. Welcoming hosts. Beautiful facility but not overly decorated where you can’t find space for your belongings. Comfortable bed and fluffy soft pillows. Good size modern bathroom with extra large towels. Shower was supplied with wall mounted dispensers of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Plenty of hot water. We chose the downstairs bedroom but went upstairs to see the other beautiful bedrooms. Host and her mom bake authentic Danish pastries. These are available 24/7 along with coffee, teas, and bottled water. Three Danes Inn is located close to many medical facilities which was convenient for our visit. We’ve already booked our next stay at Three Danes Inn.

What a charming place! Our hosts were friendly and welcoming and the pastries and baked goods were so delicious! Hands down, the best brownie I ever had. The sweets are not too sweet and the pastries are the perfect flakiness. They are available 24 hours a day and in the morning there are a variety of savory items to choose from, all fresh baked daily. The coffee was excellent as well.
We stayed in the Sunset room on the second floor, which had a private screened in porch. Lovely, just lovely. There are five rooms to choose from, four on the second floor and one on the first floor. All have a private bathroom.
Lots of room to sit and relax outside or inside. Ideal location to easily walk for a bite to eat or have drinks.

I had a wonderful experience in this charming bed and breakfast. The room was cozy and comfortable with a double bed and a private balcony. The western-themed artwork carried through the bedroom and bath. Best of all we’re the amazing pastries baked by Darlene and her mother and set out for guests to enjoy along with coffee and hot tea at their convenience. I will definitely be back.

First of all the owners are wonderful at accommodating you when they can. My room was ready way before the check in time as I has asked if I could leave my luggage with them while I was out. Since the room was ready I was able to leave my stuff in my room. The owner even carried my bags to the room. The stairs are a little climb but the rooms are worth it. They are very spacious and comfortable. I loved that we got freshly baked sweets and all the coffee, tea and water you need. The whole property is gorgeous. I would love to return in the fall when I can enjoy the outside more (its too hot right now) The bathroom is perfect. Parking is on the street but I had no issues parking, there was always empty spaces on the front and side of house.

If you love quaint, quiet, comfortable, clean, and very nice hosts, you must stay here! If you love homemade pastries, this is an experience like no other. The neighborhood has been revitalized and offers so many restaurants it’s hard to choose. We chose one of the top BBQ destinations in Texas just blocks away!

Very cozy place to stay! Felt Like home away from home! The owners are so nice and friendly - easy to talk to and ask questions of things to do in the area. They also have freshly handmade pastries available all day everyday - nothing better than starting your day with a homemade Danish and a cup of coffee and at the end of the day having a cup of tea and a Danish!

This place lives up to all expectations and much more. Jim and Darlene are fantastic hosts; so knowledgeable about the area and willing to help with anything. The best part is what they downplay; the pastries! A large variety of the best pastries ever plus coffee, tea, and bottled water are available 24/7. The whole house squeaks and creeks like a house built in 1904 should. The Inn is in walking distance of great Texas BBQ at Brix and Panther City BBQ. I would stay again, but will go on a diet beforehand so I can really enjoy the pastries.
