Guests at Springhill Suites Fort Worth Historic Stockyards are often impressed by the spacious and well-equipped rooms, though some have experienced check-in communication issues. The hotel's atmosphere, highlighted by a pleasant rooftop bar, along with the fun local concert experiences, contributes to an enjoyable stay. The cleanliness of both the rooms and common areas consistently receives high marks.
While the staff's friendliness and attentive service are frequently praised, opinions on value are mixed due to additional parking charges and pricey dining options. However, the hotel's convenient location near the Stockyards and the variety of breakfast choices are popular among travelers.

Detailed Reviews
This hotel is a step above your typical Springhill Suites. It is located right near the epicenter of the Stockyards district (Exchange and Main Sts.). Totally walkable in 3 minutes to everything you'd like to see here in Ft. Worth. There is a bar in the lobby which is open in the evenings and a really great restaurant on the roof (open all year round) which serves Spanish-style food, tapas etc. We ate there both nights we stayed and enjoyed the food each night. There is a full buffet breakfast each morning and the coffee is pretty decent. Small market in the lobby which sells snacks and does sell some alcohol (beer/wine). Mini fridge, microwave, and rudimentary coffee maker in each room. Self parking or valet is available. The lobby is decorated really nicely; again, this is a step up from your typical Springhill in that regard.
Drawbacks I found: Marriott now only offers housekeeping on every third night of your stay, which I think is ridiculous, and this kind of nickle and dimeing is leading to a move from Marriott to Hilton properties for our family. The rooms feel small to me and are quite dark. We stayed in a queen/queen room and there was a sofa bed, but apparently the king rooms don't offer sofa beds (at least that's what the front desk told me, even though the Bonvoy app indicates differently). I did not find the front desk associates particularly helpful when I asked about an upgrade (which I am entitled to as a platinum member) and they also did not volunteer the information about housekeeping, so we were unpleasantly surprised to return home and find our room had not been cleaned. If you ask me, this is something Marriott should reverse quickly, because other hotel chains have not followed suit after returning to normal after Covid. In fact, Marriott seems to continue to use Covid as a reason to short on service like this.
In sum, this is a nice place to stay as long as you are aware about the housekeeping and that they don't offer upgrades as they should (or, at least, as promised to Bonvoy members).

Recently stayed from 04-12 to 04-15 at the SpringHill Suites in the Fort Worth Stockyards area for a business trip and had a very good stay.
Check in was smooth and the room was ready when we arrived around 5:30 pm.
Room was spacious with a King sized bed, and sofa that converted 3 different ways. There was a small fridge, microwave and a very small coffee maker along with the ice bucket and standard desk, safe, closest area and TV with access to streaming services if you signed in. Bathroom had a large vanity with one sink. Shower work well and was stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the large mounted dispensors.
We ate at Attico restaurant upstairs on 2 evenings. Despite being very busy on the weekend we still had quick and friendly service. The menu was lovely and we were able to customize dishes to our liking as well, a great touch! Specialty cocktails and the view from the rooftop were top-notch!
We enjoyed the daily breakfast buffet and found the variety to be very good and fresh. There was always a clean table to sit down as well.
The pool was not heated so we didn't use it during our stay.
One evening we enjoyed evening drinks at the lobby bar and sat with bartender Timothy and got some good Dallas local information and suggestions.
Overall a very good location and stay in the stockyards. If we are ever back in Dallas we would definitely look at the Springhill Suites again.

During an extended trip through California and Texas, my wife and I stayed five nights at the SpringHill Suites in the Fort Worth Stockyards. Of all the Marriott properties where we stayed this was by far our favorite.
The building and premises are all in outstanding condition and maintained to Class A standards. Every employee that we encountered was friendly and geniune. We enjoyed true Texan hospitality.
Each morning, we exercised in the Fitness center on the LifeCycle equipment and also used the free weights. The pool area was closed but looked nice when weather is warmer.
The free breakfast was really a highlight. Each morning, the hot breakfast items were different. From eggs, to waffles, bacon, sausage, fritattas, quiche, etc. Also available was always yogurt with various toppings and fixings, fresh fruit, oatmeals, juices, milks, bagels and other breads and it seems like more that I am forgetting. The breakfast service was staffed by two to three attendents the entire time to make sure that nothing ran low and that all guest felt serviced and were happy. It felt like a high end buffet at a country club.
We used the guest laundry to do a couple loads...nice and easy and saved a trip.
The parking lot was easy in and out with a paper tag that scanned at the gate...and it was cheaper per day than most of the other nearby hotels.
Our room was very nice but the furniture wasn't a comfy as could have been. The chairs sofa were a little stiff but we made it fine enough. The view was to the west over the parking lot but still good with us.
I highly recommend the SpringHill Suites in the Stockyards. A short walk from Billy Bobs and even closer to the White Elephant and the rest of the fun on Exchange.

Beware of staying on the 5th floor especially room 508 woken up at 7:20 to the sound of something that resembles a hail storm, went down to the lobby and had no answer till 10 that it was the unopened restaurant above our head, mind you we didn’t get in till 2/30 am so less then 5 hours to sleep. Went back to the room and with the do not disturb sign on the door the maid proceeds to walk in our room. We then gave up to check out and the girl at the front desk took our parking ticket that we paid $15 to park at our hotel and guess what we needed that ticket to leave , so we had to pay another $15 just to drive out of the lot. Please think careful before you stay at the location at the spring hills Marriott at the stock yards

The hotel itself was ok - pretty standard low budget hotel and room. But for 800+/night it scores low relative to other Bonvoy properties at which I’ve stayed - and yes, I’m factoring in the location, which was a positive within walking distance of the Ft Worth Stockyard. Though street was very loud until after midnight.
The three star rating comes down to the fact that I came back to the room after an exhausting day to find that for some reason housekeeping didn’t clean my room or replace my towels. When I called downstairs to complain they said I must have requested no housekeeping service, which absolutely did not happen.
Also, and I’m aware this may sound bratty, but when I checked in the receptionist didn’t acknowledge my Bonvoy status even after paying with a Bonvoy credit card. None of the customary Bonvoy “gifts” or anything.
So, just a meh experience all around. I’d encourage other visitors to save their money and stay downtown at another Bonvoy property.

The bad:
1. The hotel sits on a busy street and the noise is worse than Bourbon St in New Orleans. Constant very loud cars day and night drag racing down the street and playing music very loud. It was very difficult to sleep. The windows are low grade so the noise is very loud inside the rooms.
2. The water pressure is the worst Ive experienced in any hotel or even bush camp in Africa for that matter. It was difficult to wash the shampoo out of our daughter’ hair. I called the front desk and was informed that is normal for the hotel.
3. Room cleaning only after the 3rd night, which isn’t a big deal for us but others may care
4. The price was similar to Hotel Zaza in Austin which is a much nicer hotel in every aspect
Good:
1.The hotel is convenient to the stockyards
2. The beds are comfortable
Overall, we were disappointed and will not return. We planned on staying 3 nights but cut our stay short to 2 nights given the poor experience and noise. We needed a good nights rest which isn’t an option in this hotel.

We stayed at many hotels on a 11-day road trip. This was the best hotel. Very large. Nice new rooms. The parking was $15 a day and worth it because it averages $20 to park in the stockyards. The location is great and easy to walk around the stockyards. Fun location. Breakfast was awesome with plenty of choices. One of the only hotels with bananas in Texas. We ate at Cattlemen’s but my Bbq ribs were tough. Hubby said his $50 steak was average. Went to Billy Bob’s for a concert and had a blast. Be sure to see the longhorn go down exchange street which is daily at 11:30 and 4 pm. Loved our stay there.

We had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to come back! The location is convenient to the Stockyards, but it was the outstanding customer service that made our “girls’ trip” so much fun! Amir, at the front desk, was great! His friendly professionalism made us feel welcomed, and he answered all of my questions- even about the self-parking. Breakfast was delicious, and I truly appreciated the staff’s attention to keeping the breakfast area neat and clean. We are already planning our return trip!

I can’t say enough about this beautiful hotel and amazing staff. Everyone was so friendly and nice! We almost felt like we were at Disney World. Jasmine L. at breakfast was so personable every morning. Not only was the breakfast great, but she built a relationship with us every morning. We brought our own food and wine on the rooftop patio and the staff inside the restaurant checked on us anyway and talked to us like we were old friends. The front desk staff in the morning and at night were sweet and cheery every single time we saw them. One of the ladies cleaning the rooms insisted on helping my friend with her luggage while we were leaving. Location is fabulous! We had a great week! We were there for a convention at the convention center, but it was mostly like a girls trip. :)

Our stay was mainly positive. Hotel is in a great location just a very few steps from the Stockyards. Hotel is nice and modern, staff were friendly and the free breakfast more than adequate. We also enjoyed visiting Atico on the top floor. Parking is plentiful and secure. Self park costs $15 per day. Our only gripe concerned the hot water or lack thereof. It seemed that during our stay that the hotel was not busy and therefore the hot water struggled to make it to the fifth floor. The solution, as suggested by the front desk and maintenance was to run all available taps until hot water emerged. On the first occasion we were unaware of this and endured two freezing showers before heading out to our dinner reservation. Another night required a full 40 minutes before the water was warm and 50 before it became hot. We did better on our last couple of nights as it only took 25 minutes to achieve adequate heat. So we don't expect this hotel will be winning many conservation awards on this basis!
