They advertise free wi-fi, but it doesn't work. My tablet was not able to connect to their wi-fi the whole stay, which was 2 nights. The bathtub faucet would not turn off and ran LOUDLY all the time and they refused to change rooms or grant a discount on the room. The night clerk, who did not have a handicap...

I booked this hotel online, forgetting one of the cardinal rules of online booking: read the reviews. But the price was attractive, the location was ideal, and the place had an acceptable two-star rating. How bad could it be, right? This bad. Our first room proved to be an omen. We checked in, went up to the room, unlocked the...

This is the type of hotel you could imagine being on the TripAdvisor advertisement when it comes to the part where it shows you hotel that should be avoided . . . to paraphrase Groucho Marx: it may look look like a bad hotel, and sound like a bad hotel but don't let that fool you - it really is...

The place probably looked better 60 years ago. But for me, it was clean and worth saving $150 vs the Convention Center hotel when all I was doing was sleeping six hours, shower and leave. The hot water took some time to heat up, and the shower was draining slow, but the price effectively reflected such details.

A pile of feathers on the bed, no phone, a suspicious stain on the sheets, dirt in the corners and the night manager tried to come into our room at midnite, saying it wasn't our room; the whole experience was creepy

I was traveling in a group and didn't have hotel choosing power, or else this never would have happened. One of my husband's friends was in charge of finding the hotel for us when we came into town to visit a friend and see the Cowboys. The room was dirty, the TV remote didn't work (the batteries were ancient and...

My colleague and I wanted to spend 2 nights in the hotel, but when I arrived in my room, no light was working. I wanted to plug in the lights and looked under the bed. There I saw used condom packages and cockroaches! I never saw such a dirty hotel room before and I decided not to spend the night...

First the phone system wasn't working then when I asked for a knock on the door for a wakeup they put it on a sticky slip but never came. Next day I gave them my cell phone but they never called. When I arrived most of the lights in the room were out which took a day to correct. They...

Staying here for two nights 10-15 till 10-16 of this year. I could not get a room at the Convention Center so I thought I would try to stay close by due to a business meeting. This was the biggest mistake ever made. Checked in after dark, she gave me my key to the first room. Roach ran out the...

“The hotel is located above a restaurant/bar that plays a lot of live music. We could hear the band very well from our second floor room so if you have trouble sleeping through loud music, I'd ask for a room on a higher floor and on the west side of the hotel.”
