Loved the Pear Tree Cottage and Becky and Sam are a delight to stay with! Biscuits made especially for us for an unscheduled breakfast for 2nd time visitors! Hospitality is a gift and they have it! This will always be my go to when visiting Fredericksburg! Rachel P

We had a lovely stay with the Higgins. Very hospitable and welcoming couple. They made us feel like family. The breakfasts were amazing. You are seated family style with other guests and were able to enjoy their company as well. Stayed at the Becky's cabin. It was beautiful comfortable and exceptionaly clean. Becky and Sam have created a great getaway. The cabins are decorated in cowboy Texas chic! The food is wonderful. Most importantly, they are great Southern hosts. Love the stories! We will be back. As an added bonus: included in the visit are Poco and Elton John: the resident dog and cat.

A group of my friends and I had the pleasure of staying at Sam and Becky's Chuckwagon Inn this weekend. In addition to beautiful weather and fantastic accommodations, the homemade breakfast every morning was outstanding. Sam and Becky will make you feel like you're visiting family. This was our first visit to Fredericksburg and we couldn't be happier with our choice of the Chuckwagon Inn. Sam and Becky were terrific, fun hosts and the breakfasts were amazing. Our second morning there was St. Patrick's Day. Becky had the dining room totally decorated for the occasion and Sam made the most delicious corned beef hash from scratch....

My husband and I spent 2 nights in the Pear Tree Cottage. Becky and Sam have thought of everything. The cottage was clean and decorated beautifully, with a comfortable king size bed and fireplace. We enjoyed our evenings sipping wine on the covered porch, as well as the fabulous breakfast each morning. Becky's and Sam's knowledge of the history of...
