Outside: This was a fantastic, picturesque, log cabin sort of cottage. It is a huge property, loads of space to walk around, a huge plain of grass all around. It looks beautiful. The property has an outdoor patio which is a great sit out and also a little deck that is great in the evenings after the sun goes down....

Almost don't want to post a review because we plan to return in the next two months and will not stay anywhere else now. Huge pluses above the other places we've stayed in and around Fredericksburg: 1. Perfect location and setting. Just outside of town so we could enjoy pear and quiet -- and friendly longhorns. 2. Excellent place to stay! Attention to detail. Very clean & inviting. We would highly recommend and plan to return for another stay. Beautiful scenery and convenient location. You will love everything!

We were looking for a nice, quiet spot somewhere off the beaten path to spend New Year's last year, and we really lucked out when we came across the Longhill Guesthouse.
