Surprisingly quiet for a hotel located in an airport in what looks like a hangar from the outside. We felt like we had stepped back in time and enjoyed our stay. Our group also enjoyed the entertainment area. Great mattresses too!

This was our first stay at this wonderful hotel! First class all around!! I would recommend this jewel to anyone staying in Fredericksburg! I will definitely be back! From the moment you walk into the lobby you are swept back to another era. Very romantic and well appointed. Whomever designed this hotel and diner placed a great amount of thought...

Enjoyed our time here as we went for a wine tour around Fredericksburg. Great Breakfast at the diner and had drinks at the Officers Club which was great. Hotel rooms are pretty spacious with comfortable beds. Fun to watch the planes as well. Overall good stay.

This is where we almost-always stay when we visit Fredericksburg. We like the WWII feel to the hotel and the fact that it doesn't feel like "just another chain hotel" like so many others. We stayed on a Sunday night so unfortunately the Airport Diner was closed and so was the Officer's Club (the bar area) but we knew this...

I discovered the Hangar Hotel while researching unique hotels in the Fredericksburg area. I'm so glad I found them. What a unique place to stay! Located at a small airport on the outskirts of Fredericksburg, the Hangar is just that, a renovated hotel hangar. Stepping in to the lobby is like stepping back in time. The 1940s ambience can't be...

I get the point, an old airport hangar, in a small Texas Town converted into a 1940s situation. There is a C-47 parked in front of the hotel and I think besides pictures and paint - that is it. I like to play the game, but I do want my comfort, I know there were no microwaves during the war,...

Great place with unique ambiance. Need to verify when thn Officer's Club Bar and Airport Diner are open. The days and hours they are open are a bit sketchy. Diner is phenomenal, especially breakfast. Pretty neat to see planes and helos fly in jus to eat.

My husband is a pilot of a small plane and when we found this beautiful hotel inside a hangar no less he thought that it was meant for us. The 1940's ambiance throughout the hotel was spectacular from the phone in the room to the over the top English Officer's Club. Even though the diner and the officer's club were...

A lovely, inviting bar. The ambience is great. The drinks are stout...the music is always memorable, especially the night Chan and his beautiful wife Annie were performing. He's a pianist and she is a fantastic singer. We have been here 3 times and it never disappoints. Don't miss this place as there are always extremely interesting people here from all...

My husband and I recently relocated to Boerne Texas and enjoy enjoy getting away to different places for a few days. We stayed at The Hangar Hotel a few days before Valentines Day and thoroughly enjoyed our stay...The room was ready early and very well cleaned. It was fun to sit up on the upper deck and watch the planes...
