I was blessed enough to stay at the Log Cabin on this beautiful, one of a kind part of history. It is my understanding that this is the oldest in tact settlement in Texas! Back in the day it was a working farm for a German immigrant family and the current owners have outdone themselves in restoring and modernizing this...

My husband and I spent our 34th anniversary in The Log Cabin at Palo Alto Creek Farm. We are from Houston, and being at The Log Cabin was so peaceful and relaxing! It is very quaint, and we really enjoyed sitting out on the back porch listening to the birds and seeing the deer. It has all the conveniences of...

Thank you so much for choosing to stay in The Log Cabin at Palo Alto Creek Farm and for taking the time to write a review for us. When we are fortunate enough to spend some time at the place, we also are delighted with Lupe's homemade goodies! We are blessed to have her to take care of our property...

We stayed in The Barn -- and it was great for a few days for a couple looking for some peaceful R&R. Beautiful, clean, comfortable -- and a nice distance from downtown Fredericksburg. A couple of things would make it perfect, notably (I) a real shower (not just a handheld in a tub), (ii) wireless internet, and (iii) a TV...

Thank you for your recent stay in The Barn at Palo Alto Creek Farm and for taking the time to write us a review. We appreciate our guests and the feedback. After reading your review, I checked the TV in The Barn. Someone had done something with the TV remote that lost all the other channels. I ran a channel...

I recently experienced my second visit to Palo Alto Creek Farm. Both times, I have stayed at the Itz House. The kitchen is set up well for cooking for a group and the tasty treats for breakfast and gingerbread men were enjoyed by everyone. The entire place was very comfortable and relaxing, including wandering the property and visiting the farm's...

The Palo Alto Creek farm is a lovely, peaceful escape from the city. A group of friends got together to celebrate a birthday and enjoy some wine tasting in the surrounding areas. We stayed in the Itz house - we especially enjoyed the well appointed kitchen (with lots of tasty food and snacks), and how easy it was to make...

I was fortunate to have the opportunity to meet this group of friends. I arrived just as they were preparing to leave and thoroughly enjoyed my brief visit with them. Hearing guests say how much they enjoyed their stay is sorta' like having someone brag on your baby! We sincerely appreciate our guests. They allow us to have this wonderful...

The house was lovely and very roomy. It was close enough to town to drive in for dinners and winery hopping, but far enough away to be quiet, see all the stars and enjoy the beautiful Texas landscape. The breakfast treats and homemade gingerbread cookies were delicious, and the kitchen was well equipped for whipping up dinner or a yummy...

Palo Alto Creek Farm is a real paradise outside of Fredericksburg. It's a lovely experience for those people who really want to get away from it all. There's no check-in experience, you pick the keys up in town, and you don't see anyone while you're there. Our cabin, called the Hideaway, was very small but cute. The finishing touches were...

Thank you for your recent stay in The Hideaway. We are delighted that you found Palo Alto Creek Farm to be a perfect rural getaway but sorry that you didn't realize that being in the country meant driving to get somewhere else. Palo Alto Creek Farm is a true country getaway. We offer all the amenities of a fine hotel with the privacy of your own home. 4 guesthouses have everything you need for a romantic weekend or a fully equipped home for a longer visit.
