The staff were very nice and the breakfast was basic but ok but the rooms were old and needed updating. You couldn't open the window for air and the rooms had some moisture. The laundry was out of order the whole time we were there...More

Quiet and roomy. Frig & microwave in room. Nice persons at front desk. When we needed extra pilows, they brought them to our room. Wonderful location to walk on the Ferry boats and take in the ocean experience on both sides of Galveston! Big showers....More

Having to pay 190 USD (even on a weekend, where the hotels are pretty much booked on Galveston Island).
It's a basic standard hotel. It's clean but a bit outdated.
190 USD are definitely a very high rate!

Although we did not use it, they did offer cruise parking and a shuttle service. For whatever it's worth, we left the hotel about 10am and there were already a lot of people lined up to take the shuttle. The hotel is about a 10 minute drive to the terminal so perhaps a taxi or uber would be a good alternative to shuttle getting there. Have no idea how their shuttle works for the return.
