If you are OK with imperfection and can overlook small details, you'll be satisfied. I wanted so much to write a great review, but I can't. So I'll write one that is honest a complete. The Good: Great price - $149 midweek stay Wonderful host: Connie was very accommodating and responsive. Common area deor: beautiful antiques and with permanent Mardi...

We rented the entire place for our daughter's wedding this weekend and it was wonderful! Charming and funky - roomy and restful - Comfortable beds - plenty of hot water. The food is amazing! Connie outdid herself with the reception food...it was delicious! Breakfast was generous and tasty. A cute venue close to the Seawall for an easy walk and...

We stayed here after a cruise for the night, in the Safari Room. Connie and Jim were wonderful hosts, the place is quiet and beautifully decorated. Our bathroom had a hot tub, which was an excellent perk! We spent time in the downstairs sitting room as well. The garden is gorgeous. If you get tired of sight-seeing in Galveston, it's...

My husband and I stayed here for a quick get-away from Houston and the B&B felt like we were visiting family. Connie and Jim were very accommodating, always available to answer questions and provide recommendations on where to go and how to get there. The house is very charming with a beautiful backyard to enjoy some coffee after breakfast. We...

Location is 2 blocks from the beach. On a quiet street. We called 30 minutes prior to book the room and Connie and Jim had everything set up even a welcome note! Breakfast was delicious. The house is adorable. I can't wait to go back. If your going to Galveston this is the place to stay.

I love, love the ambience. We rented the Rainforest room, which has the coolest jacuzzi. Ideal for a romantic outing. Breakfast was filling and tasty. I had an in-room massage, which was the icing on the cake. The hostess is very friendly and inviting. We would definitely go back soon :)

My husband and I traveled down to Galveston for our 2 year anniversary. We arrived rather late into Galveston and finding Avenue O B&B was a bit difficult as it was so dark out and our GPS had a hard time locating it. The B&B isn't in the best of neighborhoods and there isn't a lit up sign in the...

It's a nice enough place to stay. I do agree with the other reviews that the owner is very friendly and helpful, but not the best housekeeper. If you want super clean, stay somewhere else. It is a short walk to the sea wall.
