Hotel and room clean. Staff very friendly. Front desk greeted us each morning as we went down for breakfast. Breakfast was very;, very good. Fresh, hot food. Good selection.of food items. Rooms cleaned daily and they used the most wonderful scented soaps and shampoos..
Fantastic free breakfast and you are 50 steps from one of the longest sandy beaches I have ever seen Pool was not heated but it had a great heated hot tub. Very helpful and friendly staff. The microwave and fridge in our room allowed us to make a few of our own meals. Just a hop from great local attractions such as Moody Rainforest Pyramid and other great attractions.
Outstanding customer service. Spacious room. This Best Western didn't leave out any comfort or amenities! If you don't need a huge chandelier in your room this place has the most value for your money! Great place!
Nice hotel and a decent price for the night I stayed. Big event going on in Galveston that weekend, so like every other hotel in town the rates more than tripled for the following weekend nights. Very pleasant overall and a nice location.
This is a great hotel. Check in was a very friendly experience, the room was very nice and had a very nice balcony . Breakfast was awesome. Overall it was a great value for us. Located right across the beach. Or ruin had an awesome view.

On the island, there are buses, ubers, cabs etc. "Shuttle" services are mostly aimed at getting cruise passengers to IAH and HOU airports on the mainland. I believe a company, called Super Shuttle, does not require minimums.
