I stayed a night at this hotel and then booked a second night on the same hotel booking website the next morning. I left my friend without a car at the hotel while I had to take care of some business. The hotel was paid for in full and the staff had my credit card- since I wasn't there, the...

Booked for one night during spring break. Hotel is very old, dirty and freezing. Called desk to tell that thermostat would not turn off , up or down! It was at least 45 degrees in that room! They finally sent someone and his answer to the problem was to turn to heat!!!!!! Told him , didn't want heat ( 89...

Room was clean. Staff was very nice. Pool area was very cute/clean and the ocean is RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET. This is my second time staying here and I have no complaints. We stayed for Mardi Gras and had a BLAST. Joe's Crab Shack is in walking distance as are a couple of other places to eat. There is ton's...

March 3, 2017 We booked the Commodore on the Beach for the night before our cruise because it seemed (online) to have what we were looking for. We arrived, and right away, red flags presented themselves. In the lobby, there were 3 women working the desk, complaining that they had to work on a Friday. There was one lady checking...

rooms smell mildew. The bedspread had a look of being washed a 100 times. The carpet was stained and smelled. The two ladies at the front desk both had their lunch at the front desk and looked at us as if we were imposing. You could see inside the manager office, it was a fire hazard. Piles and piles of...

The hotel was great, Every room faces the beach, just walk across the street. Staff was friendly and helpful with any question. I would stay again. Close to good places to eat and entertainment.. The hotel is always booked on the weekend, so get reservations early.

We have stayed here several times as has my daughter. Older hotel but rooms are clean and large. Every room has a view of the water and many have a view of the pier. All rooms have a small balcony. On the negative the elevator is noisy and slow. Might be time to upgrade. Breakfast is ok. Coffee is really...

Downside: this is an old hotel that could use some updates. Some rooms have tiny, half-size tubs with showers that are for people 4 ft & under, & a larger balcony while others have a smaller balcony but a larger bathroom. "Breakfast" consists of pre-packaged muffins or cereal. No access to rooms from lobby. Upside: Free OJ, sweet tea, coffee,...

The room was nice enough and reasonably clean and comfortable. Lots of parking and it was nice to be able to park there while on our cruise. No shuttle to the port. Wifi was terrible. Breakfast was pretty sparse. Staff at desk were not very accommodating but cleaning staff were very nice.
