The house was absolutely wonderful! My husband and I stayed upstairs with another couple (3 bedrooms are available to book) and it was so charming and quaint! We had our own private balcony which served as the perfect place for a delicious homemade breakfast (bacon, eggs, biscuits, honey butter and more) with juice and coffee. Lila the B&B owner was extremely sweet and served us a delicious breakfast and was a lovely host! I highly recommend!! This house is just beautiful with its turn of the century charm! The service from when I called to get more details was outstanding! I look forward to staying there again!

We stayed here with another couple for a weekend getaway. Such a lovely inviting and spacious upstairs, three bedroom apartment which we all had to ourselves. Everything was clean and well organized with a spacious den that had a hospitality station set up with drinks, microwave, mini frig, etc. We all enjoyed some visitation time on the screened in porch that had a nice cross breeze. Our beds were comfortable and we all enjoyed a nice peaceful sleep. The following morning Ms. Lila brought us a tasty homemade breakfast with scratch made bisquits! Conveniently located just a couple of blocks from shopping and the Courthouse Square. Do yourself a favor and come relax here.

We went to Glen Rose to hike and explore. Price House was a great place to stay for many reasons. The rooms are spacious and well furnished. The beds are comfortable and the linens and pillows are nice. The sitting area has a table, mini fridge, coffee maker, and plenty of chairs, books, and toys. The porch has rocking chairs and the upstairs porch is screened. Everything was great. Mrs.Lila was gracious and accommodating. She makes delicious breakfasts - even for early risers. The house is close to downtown shops and food, parks, and museums. I would definitely recommend Price House.

The bed is super comfortable; sheets, towels, toiletries top notch; breakfast delicious; and the most gracious host we've ever encountered. An added bonus is that Price House is suprisingly kid friendly :) We're already planning the next visit!

We stayed here with our 3 and 4 year old during a trip to Fossil Rim. The second floor apartment is spacious with several rooms and a family room with games, toys and a screened in porch. The house is a 100 years old but has been renovated in areas. The old charm is preserved and everything is neat and clean. Highly recommend.

My father and I stayed at the Price House Inn to celebrate his 75th birthday, and we could not have been happier with our choice of lodging. I'm a native Texas who lives in Boston, and he's a widower who still lives in the tiny West Texas town in which I was born. We wanted to find a place near DFW airport, so I could fly in and spend a few days with him, then easily fly back. We researched Glen Rose -- which is known to be a very quaint small town -- and decided to stay at the Price House Inn. Going into it, I thought "This could be quite an adventure. Who knows what a small, privately owned house in a tiny Texas town will have to offer in terms of amenities, hospitality, etc?" Allow me to say, this place exceeded our expectations by half! Lila and Ray were gracious hosts; every amenity we could imagine was present (kitchenette, cable, DVD player, board games, coffee, fresh towels, etc. etc. etc.); the breakfasts were consistently SUPERB. We felt as though we had found an oasis of old world charm wherein we could really unwind and just enjoy being family. If you're thinking about booking this spot, do it now. You will not regret it!

We visited a somnolent Glen Rose (turned out we were way out of season) for a romantic weekend, just the two of us, and took the room, which is actually three bedrooms, a sitting room and screened porch. Lila is very friendly, accommodating and guards her guests' privacy--you mark on a chalk board what time you wish breakfast to be served. Breakfast was simple and good (and she adjusted it for our dietary issues). This is not a fancy place--it's an old Sears catalog house (the history is told via pictures on the walls) that has been renovated, but it is comfortable. The beds were also comfortable. It feels more like rooms in a home than a hotel. The bathroom (which is a bit small) has an antique claw foot tub/shower, and everything is labeled really well. The house and neighborhood are really quiet. Our restaurant for dinner, the Riverhouse Grill, was excellent, and a block away. The Price House Inn location is right at the edge of town on the main drag--it's an easy walk into town. Glen Rose is pretty quiet this time of year--I got a note that retailers would be open "late" Saturday night, it was "Girls Night Out", but it turns out that "late" means 7pm. Lila was easy to talk to--we exchanged texts leading up to and during the weekend, and again, she is very responsive. There is garage parking as well. This is an extremely convenient way to stay in Glen Rose.

In the old area of Glen Rose, near the historic downtown area. Lila and her husband were our hosts. The are original members of the family that owned the home in 1904. The visitors area is the entire second floor of their home. Three bedrooms, one bath, and living area and screened in porch for just two of us. Breakfast was brought to us each day by Lila(we stayed 2 nights) and we had peaceful nights without any distractions or noise. The owners are wonderful people. You can walk to the town square for small shops, the ice cream or pie shop, or for a nice dinner at The River Grill just down the street. Each room was spacious and would be great for a family with younger kids that wanted to try something new. Highly recommend this sweet old historic home with modern amenities such as WiFi and cable TV available.
