A group of friends and myself were on a golf outing. We decided to stay at Quality Inn & Suites. We all had a pleasant experience. Mike at the front desk was very nice and always greeted us as we came back from golfing in the evening. The rooms were very quiet and clean. The breakfast in the morning was more than adequate and the hostess always asked if we wanted more to eat and would walk around and give us more coffee. I would without a doubt, stay there again.

Pros: The room was clean. The staff was friendly. Cons: The entire hotel needs updating. The light over the mirror in our bathroom did not work, leaving only one low wattage light in the bathroom. Walking into our bathroom was like walking into a cave. We told the front desk attendant. She was nice but did nothing about it. The breakfast attendant was really nice, but the food was horrible. In the warmers were scrambled eggs and sausage patties and something that looked like overcooked pizza rolls and taquitos. We did not check out the fitness area or pool. My conclusion: They are understaffed like many other places currently. They are working hard to keep the business going.

Wanted to see the sights of Glen Rose, TX. Clean bed linens, towels, bathroom and carpet. Dusty valance and top of headboard. Super helpful morning front desk during breakfast. The only thing I didn't like was only one way in or out and long walk to our room, but that's trivial. Great stay overall!!! Friendly staff!!!

My family and I stayed at the Quality Inn & Suites in Glen Rose, Tx., on 3-4 Dec. 2022. We choose that site based on the higher rating they received over another site and drove the extra 20 miles, due primarily, to the rating. We were phoned the evening of our scheduled stay around 6pm to verify if we were still needing the 2 room reservation and asked if they could run our credit card, to which I agreed. This struck me somewhat as odd, as this had not happened to us before. Though we were very cordially greeted upon our entry, things began to go down hill from there. Upon entry into one of the rooms, there was vomit inside the door entry way and the room had a funny odor. My son went to the front desk and reported this issue. Prior to this he also entered our room and noted the bed spread was not done well and there were many soiled spots on one of the comforters, and the room also had a peculiar odor. I was initially not too concerned as it was late and we were tired. My son was provided a new room and then contacted me later to tell me he had also found “skittles” laying in the corner of his new room. He also noted the grout/tiles/caulk in the shower were blackened, in this new room. He had then considered our leaving but we had already unpacked. However, it was to late to leave. My daughter-in-law went to the front desk where a shift exchange was taking place and she overheard some very startling information. She told me this the next morning. Apparently, she heard that the local police were using this hotel to drop-off drug abusers who were detoxing. The staff also mentioned some rooms that were not rentable, namely 105 and 115, and another few that had various issues. Next morning, I alone went to get coffee. The lady taking care of the breakfast area revealed to me that a few of the 8-10 guests staying in the hotel appeared to her to be paranoid (as if they were being watched coming and going inside and outside to work on a disabled semi-truck). She was also exasperated that they had eaten most of the eggs and sausages (her comment) and she had to make more than usual. She also only set out one canister of coffee, in the lobby area, and none in the breakfast area, which I thought was odd. When we departed the next morning we were discussing these and a few other issues when the question of “skittles” came up again, as my son had searched the internet and noted that “fentanyl“, disguised as candy, is very common. These new revelations and the other issues now totally angered me. We had two children with us, an 11 year old and a 1 month old baby, in those rooms. I have to say I find these issues totally unacceptable. I am usually asked to provide a rating, I was not asked by the hotel to provide a rating, I can understand why not now. I am bringing them up, outside the regular rating system, so that ChoiceHotel management may be aware of what is happening in this hotel.

At $70 one never quite is sure what they'll encounter. Fortunately the room was acceptable in every way (clean, serviceable and quiet). I feared that at that rate some unsavories worried keep me up all night, but it's a small town and I guess they keep a lid on that stuff. Only weird thing was that the front desk was never attended. Every time I'd pass, no one was there. Thankfully no emergencies or TV control needing batteries!

The tv did not work, the door security latch was broken, no hot water even after 10 minutes of running, the doors were locked so I couldn’t go out side at 5:30 in the morning and no one at counter, the sheet were clean but had stains, no smoke detector and the lamp was missing bulb and shade. There were no bugs that we saw.

Very disappointed! Paid $192 on a Friday night, expected it to be somewhat nice, but sadly was highly disappointed! The front entrance and lounge area was nice and clean, the staff at the front desk was courteous and helpful. Upon entering the room, it initially looked clean. However, upon further review, it was not as clean as it looked. it was obvious the room was recently painted and in a very sloppy unprofessional manner. Major paint runs were on the curtains and arm chair. The bathroom baseboards were dingy and dirty (picture included). There was what looked like human waste smeared near the door jam (picture included). The floor had dirt and grit that could be felt with your feet. I was curious of how dirty the floor actually was, so I took a wet washcloth and rubbed with my foot, as you can see in the video. Being a laminate floor, there's no reason it should be that dirty if it's mopped daily. The ironing board was broken and couldn't be used w The continental breakfast the next morning was also a disappointment. The orange juice tasted sour, very minimal selection for food items and no fresh fruit provided, not even apples! The only reason it deserves 1 star is due to the hotel being quiet. For the price we paid, our entire stay here was a complete disappointment and we will drive further to stay in a nicer hotel in the future.

We stayed her with out family of four, the main reason, an indoor pool for the kids. The staff was nice upon arrival. That evening we went down to the pool which is advertised as being heated. Well it wasn’t and was very cold. Kids being kids, they swam and had fun. The hot tub at least was heated and worked well. When we asked the staff about the pool being so cold they said they had complaints that it was too warm. Another staff member said it wasn’t being heated because it was broken and the pool also needed to be shocked and cleaned which it hadn’t been done in awhile. The next morning we wake up to the guy across from us banging on his room door and screaming at his significant other and calling her some names children shouldn’t hear At the complimentary breakfast, we were told they only had waffles, some sausage, and milk/cereal (we didn’t get there late either). No biggie but the staff told us they usually had more food but today they couldn’t get any more. Stuff happens right. Kids got waffles and cereal so good deal. Later that afternoon, I laid down on the bed and saw dried blood on one of the pillows that I turned over. None of us had bled on the pillows and to our knowledge none of the cleaning staff came in to replace towels etc (we still had the same towels from the morning and took off the do not disturb sign). We also found a large amount of mold on the closet ceiling. My wife took the pillow to the front desk who accused us of being deceitful and making this up because we didn’t tell them the day before (I get that but I’ve never even thought to check my pillow for blood before…). I go down to the desk and they man accuses me of bleeding on the pillow. I asked him if I some how planted the mold in the closet as well and he then became reasonable and gave us a refund. Don’t waste your money. This place is disgusting. A complaint with the State was filed as well.

The Hotel Staff was very friendly. We originally planned to stay two days but added a 3rd day. The Facility was very clean and close to our Daughter's house. Our room was excellent - very clean, comfortable bed, lots of pillows, plenty of towels, and amenities. Mike was very helpful when we had trouble with our room card.
