We came here for 3 days on the mid part of our Honeymoon. This place is spectacular.. CABINS: We had a wonderful cabin, the view was exceptional and the sunset amazing, in the evening we also sat and watched some wonderful wildlife. SURROUNDING: the location is secluded but that was the attraction for us. just a short 10 min drive...

Took a weekend getaway and the ranch is very peaceful. Quite a few families / couples were there and everyone was friendly. Stayed in a cabin and the room was large and the view off the back porch was relaxing but nothing spectacular. We enjoyed the pool area but the pool did not appear to be cleaned either of the...

The front staff members were very helpful and gracious. The cabin room was very attractive. My only criticism was that the days events were decided around the horseback riding and rain. The shooting should have been a separate decision as the day cleared and shooting could have taken place. I understand about the horses footing and so on.

My family (wife, teenage daughter, and Chihauhau) spent the Labor Day Holiday weekend at Wildcatter Ranch and Resort. Far from a "Cowboy Family," the entire staff made us feel welcome, introduced us to all that the resort had to offer, and paid attention to every detail of our stay. Our cabin room (15) was impeccable from top to bottom ---...

Myself and Husband went here for a few days on our honeymoon. What can i say the place is beautiful. We booked to do the Horse riding and jeep ride. We firstly wanted to do a ride with just us but decided to do a group ride which actually turned out better as we met 2 other couples and had...

I booked this using their own website, booking was very easy. We decided to stay in the main hotel but they do have cabins as well. We were welcomed with a smile. Our room was beautiful and very clean. The only reason we did not give 5 is because they don't have any cold drinks or serve lunch on site,...

A beautiful, calm sanctuary. Our 1st night was overbooked (due to a wedding) so we were put in their top accommodation, the OTs cabin which was a ranch house with 2 beds, kitchen, laundry, lounge etc. Amazing BUT the bugs came as a shock to us & after finding various unwelcome inhabitants in the cabin, my son refused to stay!...

Breakfast was a bit simple but filling; it could have had more variety over the three days we were there. Staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful; the views were spectacular across the northern hill country. Will DEFINITELY come back.

We stayed in a very nice cabin - spacious and nicely furbished room (bed very comfortable) with a shared backyard with great views of the valley. Wildcatter is basically in the middle of nowhere and they offer a few activities which I think were very expensive. Horseback riding was USD 120 for a trip. Staff is very friendly, but I...

Really great hotel with a very nice pool area. The staff were really helpful and accommodating. We did the horse riding and shooting, which was really fun. The location is pretty much in the middle of nowhere, which is great if you don't want to leave the ranch (there's a Walmart a couple of miles away, but nothing other than...
