We stayed at Comfort Suites due to it being one of the hotels that offer a discount when visiting the Audie Murphy Museum. I would absolutely go to the Audie Murphy Museum again in a heart beat, but I would not stay at this hotel again nor do I recommend it ! Our room looked great but we soon learned the toilet would not fill back up after being used! It literally took over 15 minutes for the back tank to fill enough to flush again. We reached out to the front desk and was told that there were no other rooms and that it was a known problem with the water pressure in that room! So I started asked for a steep discount on our room bill and asked for a manager. He showed up quickly and looked at the toilet..and he too stated that it was a known water pressure issue and not just with our room, but the whole side of the hotel!!!!Really??? And this is not being told to people prior nor is it being fixed??? He was able to move us to another room that the toilet worked . But one night was enough as the beds were very hard and the room must have been right above the electrical room as the beds had a slight vibration ! Not the night stay I was hoping for but the Museum was well worth the drive..I would just find a different hotel and forget the discount! Spend your $ at the museum!…
Nice place to sleep and a central location in Gville. Breakfast was tasty. Rooms were clean and the property was well kept. One recommendation - management to replace the bed pillows which were not very comfortable.
Saturday night visit for a concert. Made reservation through the hotel website. Arrived and room was ready. Pretty nice king bed, couch, fridge. Room was clean quiet stocked with plenty of towels, etc. Hotel was full and it was time change weekend. When we went down for breakfast late Sunday morning it took a minute to find a table. Had to wait a few for restocking of breakfast buffet. They kept busy and we all got breakfast. Desk staff courteous. Definitely consider staying again next year. We are readers and finding light in any hotel room is difficult.
Easy checkin the room was great, it was big and i loved that it had a couch in it. in the morning while breakfast was going the lady at the front desk had to keep coming over to clean tables, I heard one of the guest say they are out of orange jucie, the lady at the front desk heard her and asked the lady doing breakfast if she wanted her to put orange in while you did the eggs, she said i can do it myself dont need you. The lady at the front desk apologized and went and back to her desk. The front desk lady was trying to make sure that both sizes was helped. she did it with a smile and talked to everyone that she seen. I feel she needs someone to tell here she is doing a great job. other than that i will be back
Had booked a room at Econolodge in Sulphur Springs TX for that night and found it to be Disgustingly smelly, we left there and went to Springville Tx Comfor Suites. It was very late at night and Zach at the hotel was most friendly, understanding, and so helpful!! Hotel was very clean, quiet and most comfortable. The next morning Ms. Stephanie checked us out as we told her our story, and she was very kind and understanding. Great place to stay!
