We stayed here on New Years Eve for 2011 so we could go out in the Galleria area and not have to worry about driving. The room was clean, but had a funky smell to it, possibly a previous smoking room. It had no balconies. All of the decor was a little out of date. The price was about $115...

Once they finally got the key to work, the room was reasonably clean. I don't recommend the "view" because these rooms face the interstate loop and the traffic noise is substantial. To top things off, I left my eyeglasses in the room and the staff was not helpful - literally refusing to look for them. Cheap rates as compared to...

My car was broken into within 5 minutes of checking in. I parked right in front of the hotel went to check-in and walked out no more than 3 minutes later and caught the guy driving away. Called 911 and cops NEVER showed. Hotel does not have surveillance cameras. Hotel looked beautiful but area is very unsafe. Guy was in...

Stayed here for 3 days on business. The staff is great but the hotel is terrible. If you turn on the heater it smells of a dead rat! The Internet wifi is so terrible that I couldn't send emails from my room. Also the room has one of the oldest TVs I've ever seen and the picture was fuzzy. The...

We arrived at 12:15 am, but service was exceptional, and the rooms were beautiful. The hotel has been bought over and renamed to Hotel 31, but you could never tell just looking at it. Literally. They haven't gotten around to taking down the Holiday Inn sign. :)

I was there for a week for business and ate in the restaurant about 4 times breakfast buffet was wonderful and dinner was very good. The staff was very helpful I had things I needed done for my business presentation and they went above and...

We were on the second floor and immediately upon entering our room it smelled like a dead rat! We called the front desk and they said someone would bring air freshner...that NEVER happened. The hotel engineer came to inspect the place and denied it being a rat...but said the smell was due to the construction going on....he too promised air...

When I checked in the person at the front desk was polite and friendly! The room was VERY spacious with a king size bed it looked like there was new furniture in the room. I was amazed how large the rooms were which was a surprise compared to some hotels I have stayed at!

My husband and I stayed here for four nights over the Memorial Day weekend while we helped our son move to Houston. I did quite a bit of research before booking because I hoped to find a hotel that we could use for other visits. We certainly will be coming back here. I booked a "Best 4 Breakfast" rate through...

Mold rennovation project currently in progress. Breakfast; Hot Bar was $14.02 with tax before tip. The facility & food are well below average. Overpriced for the experience. Staff was friendly & helpful.

“Avoid this one have a look at Hotel Derrick 500 yards further down and opposite side of the crossroad to the Galleria, it's new, nice and although rooms are a little on the small side a much better experience and a nice restaurant in the foyer”
