We had a great stay for a couple of nights. Staff was wonderful and accommodating. Forgot a few toiletries and they provided a bag of essentials. Needed a few more towels and they got them right away. The free breakfast was a nice perk. Eggs, sausage, yogurt, oatmeal, waffles, toast, bagels, fruit, juices, and coffee/tea and it beats paying $30-$40 for the 4 of us. They also provided hot coffee almost 24 hours of the day. The only improvement would be if rooms were cleaned daily but given our short stay it was not a big deal.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel! The front desk staff and the housekeeping are wonderful and very kind. I also really like the newness feel of all the rooms! All the furniture is brand new and all the utilities are also brand new in the rooms! I also really like the Texas Theme the hotel portrays around the lobby and the breakfast area. The breakfast is also very good! It was a great addition to my morning! My kids also loved swimming in the pool! I would definitely recommend this hotel to others!

Ms Tyroch, I am writing to let you know I was not happy with the service this weekend while we stayed at your Hotel.

The customer service was terrible. I called the front desk at 10:45am today asking for my trash to be taken out and asking for clean wash cloths and towels.

I was told to give the house keeper until 2pm because they were trying to get the rooms. cleaned that folks checked out of. I said ok, how long should I wait before calling back.

At this time the house keeper was on my floor and worked on my floor, for at least 3 hours cleaning rooms and passed room 319 numerous times after I have made a phone call to the front desk this morning.

I called again @ 2:45 the gentle man( Khoi) I spoke with said , he had just arrived and they just started cleaning, which is not true I was in my room all day. I look out the door several times and saw housekeeping next to my room, pass my room, come back by my room and never came to my room.

I tried calling back @ 4pm ish and the person ( Khoi) who was working let the phone ring, he would answer the phone and put the call on hold, never acknowledge the phone Call and say can you hold, can I call you back, just kept placing the call on hold.

I finally got dress and went down stairs @5: 15 to make contact with the rude person that was just placing the call on hold ( Khoi),

When we checked into the hotel, one of the pillow cases on the bed had dried blood 🩸 ,

This was by far the worst Hotel I ever stayed in and will be doing a terrible rating online. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody.

I was not happy from the start of my checkin In.

Just not what I expected. I felt like the room was half cleaned. Furniture and vents were filled with dust. The refrigerator did not work. We asked for more face towels and the lady at the desk stated she did not have any to give us. Housekeeping did not provide any on their rounds as well. I am aware that due to COVID, breakfast is limited, however, we was promised fresh fruit, muffins and juice. For a group of 6, we were only able to get one muffin and two juice boxes each day of our stay. Just not satisfied. However, the location was great.

The staff I interacted with was friendly, but the facility was in need of repair. The hotel was likely fill for the first time in a long time because of a close by volleyball tournament, but they didn’t have a housekeeper on staff for the weekend. I paid additional for the upgraded bigger room, and it was bigger- but the there was no sticker on the door to seal it, the furniture was all pushed against the wall instead of in its appropriate place, the floor was sticky, there was an electrical outlet pushed into the wall that didn’t work- likely an unsafe situation. The breakfast was just yogurt stacked up not on ice and some muffins. I understand that Covid has reeked havoc on the hotel industry, but the quality and cleanliness of this hotel was not acceptable.

This was the worst experience we've ever had with a Hampton property. The young man who checked us in was nice. But we picked rooms through the app to have 2 rooms adjoined and the other next to that room- and we did receive 2 adjoining rooms and one room down the hall. We were OK with that as we just wanted to get in our rooms and rest as we were traveling with children. The room that was down the hall had a strong cigarette smell, which we dealt with, and just switched rooms within our group. We did not want to add to the work load of the front desk people as they seemed overwhelmed, the elevators weren't working, and they stated they were short on cleaning staff. We let the kids rest a bit and then we went out to enjoy some entertainment that was near the hotel. Upon coming back, we noticed that one of the adjoining rooms was locked from the inside. The latch was preventing us from opening the door even though we were able to unlock the door with the key. We called the front desk to inquire if there was someone who could help us with opening the inside latch. I explained what had happened and the lady who answered said "so are you saying you don't know how to open the door using the key card?". I then spent some time explaining that we could unlock the door but we couldn't open the door due to the latch being locked. She then asked me "what are you expecting me to do?" I responded that I would like to know if the hotel had a specific tool they use in the event that the latch locks the door from the inside. She said "nope." So I asked her what my options were, how could I get my things out of the room, etc. She responded "you can forget your things and I can look to see if there is another room." I explained I had my clothes and medicine inside the room that I needed and she said "oh well." I said "so there is no way to retrieve my things at least?" and she said "nope" and hung up on me. So we started YouTubing solutions to open hotel doors that have an inside latch and just couldn't quite reach that latch. After an hour (trying to avoid the lady at the front desk) at about 1 am, I realized I had no option but to try again to have a conversation with the lady. I went down to the front desk and she moved me to a room on the 1st floor. In person, she was a little more polite than on the phone. We went to breakfast the next morning and asked the day shift front desk representative about the original room situation that was locked. She said "oh, that was unlocked this morning when our maintenance man got here." The night shift front desk representative never mentioned that maintenance would be able to open the door within a few hours. We then were able to get into our room and enjoyed the good location of the hotel.

Used online check in and digital key as I was a late check-in. I opened the door and it was all downhill from there. Two beds were made differently, so I didn’t know if one was clean or not. The lovely girl working the front desk gave me new sheets so I knew they were clean in order to get a good night rest. When making the bed I came across the box spring to be broken. Trash was left in can from previous guest. My room was downgraded from the suite I booked. Soap was left in the soap dish. Bathroom amenities were scattered on shower shelf. All the employees I encountered were super nice and the only good thing going for this hotel.

This place is cheap and not up to Hampton inn standards. No hot water unless shower runs for 40 minutes (as advised by the front desk), smells of dampness and mold, wall paper was Perl my off walls, hair dryer didn't work, disappointed with stay. This hotel needs work. The front desk girl, Snow was nice, that was the extend. The free grab and go breakfast was a joke- over ripe bananas and a frozen mini breakfast sandwich.
My recommendation is find another hotel.

I spend 125+ nights per year in all types of hotels/motels and maintain diamond status with Hilton. I like Hampton Inns but this one failed in the following areas.

Little to no security. Lack of cameras in elevator, guest floors, fire exists, etc. Saw questionable characters (not guests) late each night in lobby and parking lot.

Room attendant/maid; 4:45pm and room not made up. Stopped the maid in the hallway to ask if she was going to service my room. She offered me towels and toiletries only?

Breakfast was the worst I've ever experienced at a Hampton Inn!
Ladies running the breakfast area didn't monitor/know when food was gone. Each morning no oatmeal at 8:30am. Addressed it and was told it was made at 5:30? Another morning she had no idea it was gone. Solution was to have more in 45 minutes? No cut fruit two mornings, room temperature yogurt on a chilled plate that doesn't work, cold eggs one morning, limited breakfast baked goods, etc.
