If you are here in Houston for medical reasons. This is the best for the money. They shuttle you back and forth. They give medical discounts. They are friendly, kind, helpful and cant do enough for you.

We stayed here due to a medical visit we had and the low rate we could get there. The hotel is directly off the highway and looks okay, but once you walk into the hotel, you can see how dated it is. The room we had was an inside room on the first floor. This is more like a motel.....some... More

We encountered a few problems (broken hair dryer and TV and an issue with finding an electric outlet that worked). All problems were fixed by moving us to another room, so things were taken care of. However, the move was done after 9 at night and involved carrying suitcases up to the second floor. I've stayed at this location before... More

Filthy floors.. chipped paint.. No hot water in sink.. Inept management poorly trained.. Way overpriced for a mid-priced hotel.. Breakfast was inadequate.. ran out of fruit .. Needs remodeling and retrained management staff.

My Houston visit was for medical reasons. I am grateful for the medical rate provided, since I have made many trips to the area for very expensive and lengthy medical treatment. Your low rate and provision of the van for trips to the clinic are appreciated and I thank you for them.

What ever you do do NOT take the survey at the end of this request. Rooms are nice enough, breakfast is so-so, noise level is bad (especially on the highway side) Staff is great and very helpful. This is an old building and you can tell it. Looks good on the outside but the inside needs help and lots of... More

I reserved a non-smoking room at this hotel and was put in a smelly smoking room. I was not informed of this when I checked in. I called the front desk and was told there were no other rooms. It was too late at night for me to find another hotel.

The reservation we made a month in advance for two beds and non-smoking was given to someone else even though we arrived at 7:30 p.m. Our 3-night reservation required 3 moves to different rooms and much stress!

This older property has gracefully aged. It offers a good value if you're looking for clean, comfortable surroundings in a great area with convenient access to many Houston attractions. In our case, we are visiting family and are extremely familiar with the area. Last time we stayed at a much pricier hotel. This one met our needs just fine. Recommend.... More
