Can not say enough good things about the folks here. Shuttle driver Sami , front desk Jason and the young lady (which I already forgot her name), janitorial staff , maintenance are all top notch. So convenient having shuttle ride to md Anderson We don’t have to deal w traffic. Front desk staff had maintenance installed a shower handheld sprayer for our room as hubby needed it due to surgery. We have a spacious handicapped accessible room that is nice and has all we need to live in for a week. Our next two stays have already been reserved for here. Perfect for patients at local hospitals. You will not go wrong staying here!

We stayed in this hotel while my husband was having medical treatments in the Houston Medical Center, which is located just a few minutes away. The hotel offers a special discounted rate for guests who are there for medical reasons, making the pricey costs very affordable. Our room was huge, immaculate, and beautiful. It had a full kitchen where I prepared all of our meals, a spacious living room with a large desk, and lots of storage space throughout. The bed was comfortable. The giant walk-in shower in the bathroom was perfect. It was a pleasure to come home after days at the hospital to such a lovely place.

This Marriott Residence Inn is located just barely south of the heart of Houston and within walking distance of NRG Stadium and so close MD Anderson Medical Center. As far as we could tell, the facilities are brand new. The staff are professional, accommodative and friendly. The rooms have full kitchens. We stayed here for treatment at the medical center twice in the last month and will be back in a few months and will definitely stay here. They run complementary buses to the medical center every 30 minutes and sometimes on call. They have covered parking that is very secure. If you’re going to NRG Stadium or the medical center, I highly recommend this Residence Inn for accomodations.

The hotel has nice infrastructure but the front desk delivers poor customer service. This hotel still maintains the COVID policy which is to clean your room every three days unless requested, and they should inform the guests when they check in. However, when I checked in, the front desk staff Selina forgot to share this information with us. The next day when I mentioned to her that she forgot to mention this to us, she was quite sassy about I.

As me being a titanium member, Selina said she was fine with me taking some water, so I took three bottles of water on my first day. Then when I checked out, I found that she charged me one bottle of water. When I asked, she explained to me that she was fine letting me taking two bottles and that’s why she “secretly” charged me for an extra bottle of water. Shouldn’t she mention this upfront instead of secretly putting the charge on my bill?

She is also not fine with me taking complimentary water starting from the second day. As far as I know, all hotels I have stayed provide complimentary water every day for titanium members.

The next day when I ironed clothes, the iron was rusted inside so the steam/water spray coming out of the it was dark brown and ruined my white tshirt. Luckily the hotel front desk manager Freddy is nice and agreed to clean the tshirt for me.

Unless I have no choice, I would not want to stay in this hotel again and hear sassy comments from the hotel front desk.

I rarely write negative reviews. However, this hotel is awful! It touts itself as a Medical Center Hotel, yet it’s located close to NRG, miles from the Medical Center. The hotel guests seem to be low class locals buying rooms to party, be loud and obnoxious and disregard social distancing and mask wearing! Zero respect. The hotel doesn’t enforce they order and it’s gross. I moved rooms upon check in due to loud neighbors. Also, the first room stunk of stale cigarettes and the halls of skunk weed! At 4 am on night 2, some trash drunk idiot was banging on my door. The hotel declined to honor my friends and family rate due to an honest mistake and said even if I obtained a new form they couldn’t honor the rate. If the desk clerk and owner need the extra 12 dollars, then good luck to them! They didn’t honor my AAA card and charged the max for the night! Despite the extra nightly rate, they issue is the hotel is located in a less than desirable area littered with homeless camps! I wouldn’t stay here for free and I recommend you select another property! Horrible experience and disappointing for sure!

This review is more about my experience with management and their lack of attention to what was an uninhabitable room. I gave them several opportunities to make it right and they failed miserably. I had stayed here several times before and had good experiences which is why I made a reservation again in June. When I checked in I discovered that the air conditioning wasn’t working properly so I called the front desk. To their credit they sent someone from maintenance right up to address the situation. They changed the unit out and said they would be back in a couple of hours to make sure it was working properly. I had a client dinner that evening and told them I wouldn’t be there but that I appreciated them checking back to make sure the room was cooling down. They said they would come in and check in my absence. I returned about four hours later and the room was not cooler and I promptly called the front desk. They informed me that maintenance had left. I asked if they could switch me to another room and they said that they only had one other room and it had the same issue. I hung up and tried to make the most of the situation and try to go to sleep. It was too hot and impossible to fall to sleep. I called a few other Marriott properties in the area and finally found one with an available room. It was close to 1am at this point and I had an important meeting in the morning. I packed my stuff and went down to the front desk to explain the situation. The night auditor said he understood and made a note to have the front desk manager call me. They never did and proceeded to charge me for the room. I called the following Monday and spoke with the on duty manager. I did not think it was right that they charged me for the room considering my experience but the manager said that only the GM could reverse the charges. I asked her to have them call me and she suggested I leave the GM a voice message. I left a voice message and never received a call back. I called back again a few days and left another message for the GM and never received a call back. Really unfortunate because if they had made the situation right, I would have given them another chance but not now. I will be taking my business elsewhere and telling all of my colleagues to do the same

Outstanding service and accom-modations. Everything is clean, quiet and comfortable. The room was well equipped and the kitchen had everything needed, but only 1equipped for 1 day stay. Since service is done every 3rd day, there was a need to restock tp, paper towels, dishwasher soap, and towels on my own. For long term stays, adequate supplies should be placed.

It’s Proximity to NRG stadium is a big plus for sports fans. We visited in June, so we didn’t catch a game, but looking out our window it seemed like a good autumn walk rather than fighting traffic would be ideal.

I rate hotels on several specific factors, so let!s go….

Bed: we had a King with sofa. Our daughter found the sofa bed to actually be comfortable. Our bed was firm, but good. No issues.
Room size: typical Residence Inn. Nice kitchen area, large enough living room.
Bath: higher end shower products, but how many men want lemon scented soaps?
Breakfast: again, just typical choices. Nothing bad, nothing that stood out EXCEPT for the waffle machine that cranked out waffles in the shape of Texas. A fun thing for kids and all who are young at heart.
Fitness: indoor pool. Surprisingly well equipped fitness room. 4 treadmills, two ellipticals, one of the multi-purpose weight machines, plus dumbbells. I just used the treadmill as the neighborhood didn’t seem suited for an outdoor run due to traffic.
Cleanliness: excellent, no issues.

Internet: the only minus and, to me it’s a big one. Connectivity was an issue and it was a pain connecting all our devices. Kept asking for a password even though there isn’t one. After dozens of tries the devices would finally connect correctly. Once online, speed was fine. Again, this was not just one device with an issue. 5 different devices.

Parking: garage behind the building.

My wife and I recently stayed here. We found both the people and the property delightful.

Parking was safe and secure. The hallways, room, linens, and bedding were all fresh and clean. The front desk staff, including Assistant General Manager Freddy Cuellar, was without exception quite helpful and professional in every way.

The breakfast (categorized as grab-and-go) was a very pleasant surprise: a selection of hot food as well as cereal, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, and various bread and pastries. Much better than the usual pandemic breakfast fare !!

We will definitely be visiting again soon !!!

Everyone I spoke to at the front desk from the folks that checked me in to those that found me a toothbrush ( I forgot mine) were professional and accommodating. I loved my room, it was super spacious and had all the things that an extended stay hotel room is supposed to have. Loved the breakfast and the workout room! Parking can be a hassle in the medical center, but at the RI it was simple! Loved my stay and would recommend for those visiting the medical center.

Unfortunately, I do not recollect even though we stayed there for over 10 months. I easiest way is call the hotel directly and ask them. The hotel staff is very accommodating as generally they can fulfill most of your requests/needs
