We were in Houston at M D Anderson. I had called to request a room with a walk in shower. Anna called me twice on the day of check in to be assure me that we were getting the room we requested. And Byron was very helpful in his several roles as concierge and driver of the shuttle to the hospital. All employees were exemplary. This is a weird combination Garden Inn/Home 2 Suites, and appears to be a very recently updated hotel . We have never stayed at a Garden Inn but not sure what the difference is. This location has a free attached parking garage that requires a card to get in and out; a very nice free breakfast that includes hot and cold cereal, fresh fruit, the usual breads and pastries. The dining room also serves dinner every night, which has a limited menu of popular things like burgers, sandwiches, a few entrees, and has a full bar. We ate there once and it was more convenient than looking for a restaurant and the food was not gourmet, but reasonably priced and good. We will stay here again when we go back to M D Anderson. The location is ALMOST walking distance to the hospital, but the shuttle is a nice amenity. This is a great place to stay at a reasonable price. And it is right around the corner from Hermann Park, with the zoo, walking trails and a garden. And when we were leaving the custodian was power washing the front lobby, so, very clean!

These employees excel in hospitality!! From the front desk that was so friendly and outgoing, always greeting you and so accommodating to are late check out! To the both amazing shuttle drivers who made sure we new how to reach them at any time. The morning breakfast staff always cleaning up after us with a smile, and the maintenance staff who made sure we could charge are phones while we waited to go to the airport. The rooms are amazing! This hotel is so clean and well staffed. I can't say enough great things about it. I've been in the hotel business for 20 years. Thanks for a great experience. Can't wait to come back. See you in 8 months.

Stayed one night in October, and was very impressed with this new HGI location. The lobby, guestroom, common areas, etc. were all appointed with modern finishes. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was well laid out. The staff were kind and professional, but with it being a new property, there were a couple challenges. Most notably, the $10 Diamond perk was improperly added to my account with no removal. Not a big deal, but I basically paid $10 for overpriced items in the pantry. I didn't park a car, so no review of the setup. If in the area again, I will consider this hotel while keeping an extra eye on my Diamond benefits.

I stayed here for two nights on a work trip. It’s a lot better than a normal garden inn. The staff was nice. It’s very clean. Parking was very easy although they do charge $15. It has a bar and a pool which is not common for this level in the Hilton family. Overall I’d stay again for sure.

The hotel is situated near to the Houston Medical Center and near to the NRG Stadium - $10/- by UBER. The room size is quiet big and the bed is with new bedding & sheets. Could sleep without much of disturbance. Daily house keeping is not done. Breakfast is not much elaborate with standard cereals and bread. The staff in the front desk is friendly.

This is a brand new hotel, and I think it is really pretty and nice. We just had a bad experience in our particular room. There was a bad odor in the room, the water did not get hot, there was dog hair that had not been vacuumed prior to our stay, the bathroom outlet did not work and the staff were loud outside of the room.

I absolutely love this hotel. I stayed in February for a conference I was attending about 10-15 minutes away (on Scott Street). When I arrived, I actually did not have to go to the desk, I was able to use my digital key to open the parking garage gate, and go straight to my room. I got settled and went to the gym. The gym was clean with great equipment.

The room was clean and fresh. It was also pretty quiet on my floor as well. It was quite busy at the hotel, but also quiet as well. I slept very well each night I stayed.

There is plenty of parking, but the garage is a little tight, but serves its purpose.

There is a restaurant onsite (breakfast and dinner). They also have a market near the front desk with a variety of snacks, beverages and sweets.

The staff was great, but I also did not interact with them too much. The interactions that I did have were pleasant and they were very attentive to my requests.

I did not have ANY issues during my stay, it was pretty much perfect.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the area.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel (April 19-22, 2024). It was only 25 mins from the Houston Hobby airport. The staff was very cool and helpful. The food at the restaurant was also very good. A big "Thank You" to Byron Diggs for driving me to the location of our party on Saturday to the Park Pavilion. We ended up circling the block only to find out that the location was a hop, skip, jump, and one light from the hotel. We just chatted and laughed about how close it was. The only suggestion I would make is to include side make-up mirrors in the bathrooms. It was hard to put on make-up from the full length mirror in the closet (the lighting is bad) and the mirror in the bathroom is too far away.

Hope to be back next year for the Houston House Music Weekender.
