We had a great time at this hotel. Staff is very accommodating, especially the front desk. I wish I got all their names but the only one I remember is Crystal at the front desk who was so nice and patient with me when I called to book rooms at the last minute. We ended up extending our stay by another 2 nights and they were able to switch our rooms to ones with more beds at a lower price. Rooms and bathrooms are clean. I can say the faucet in room 214 does have low pressure, but out of 4 rooms, that's the only low pressure I experienced in the four rooms we occupied. One day we had a problem with the toilet draining slow, but we went down to the front desk and they were able to fix the problem in 30 minutes. The hotel has 2 washing and drying machines which were convenient for us to use -and they sell detergent at the front desk. The best part for me? The hotel backs up to one the the many Chinatown strip malls. Every day we were able to leave out the side door and a quick 3 minute walk to Chinatown. Lots and lots of places to eat and shop there and a chinese grocery store. I think this hotel is the closest to Chinatown than any other hotel. Also, there is a McDonald's and a Denny's on the same block.

I mostly chose this place because of the location - I wanted to eat my way through houston and Chinatown have some of the best eateries. It’s so great to be able to walk out in the morning to grab some authentic Chinese breakfast with the locals. The hotel was great and I did not have any issues with service. It was fully booked when I was there that weekend and I felt it was relatively safe. There is no view whervever you stay - you either face the back of a building and dumpster area or the freeway.
It’s an older hotel so you can see some aging in the finishing but housekeeping kept everything clean so I was very happy about that. I think the hotel should also do something more to keep fresh air flowing bc the room smells a bit musty- (but it quickly goes away after you turn on air conditioning).

The hotel is right in the middle of China town. Close to restaurants and shops. Close to the highway but very quiet. The room was clean but the mattress felt old and saggy in the middle.

Front desk staff was rude and unfriendly. They never smiled or said hello when I passed by to get to the elevator but stared at me the entire time as if I was trespassing. I smiled at them and even made my room key visible because I felt uncomfortable (and to prove that I'm a guest) but they would not smile back but continue to stare at me. Did not feel welcome at all.

Bathroom sink clogged and dripping. Random people are walking in parking lot. Most importantly, Non-smoking room smells like someone smoked recently. When i asked them to change the room, they said they don't have any other available room. They hand me over the bottle in the pic to get rid of the smell on my own. Horrible customer service!!! Don't make the mistake i made. Its below 2 star hotel.

I've stayed here multiple times, always when I visit Houston to see my dad. I always feel relatively safe there, as safe as you be in Houston. The room was comfortable and had just what I needed. There is a microwave to heat up things which I find handy. The staff is accommodating - one long morning in the room I put the do not disturb sign out but when I left, the cleaning staff member was in the hall and I let her know I was leaving and if they could refresh the room (mainly the coffee) that would be awesome but no biggee if not. It was all refreshed when I returned in the late evening. (You can get the K-cups for the Keurig in the lobby too.)

Smack in the middle of Chinatown with dozens of Asians restaurants within walking distance. The 6-10AM hot breakfast alone is nearly worth the price: link sausage, bacon, potatoes, biscuit and gravy, eggs fixed your way by the chef, fresh juices, fruit, etc. Beautifully adorned lobby and grounds and close in parking. Ice machine inoperative.

My stay was completely ruined. I’ve never felt so humiliated in my life. We stayed here for a 3 day New Years Event , and was told that since we wasn’t satisfied with the room and hotel conditions we can check out and leave the property! The GM exact words! I was totally blown away. Sunday morning we immediately left for home .

Terrible. Not worth staying here. Worst hotel of any brand that I have ever stayed at. They should lose their Hilton name immediately.
No bar, poor restaurant, lackluster service, no dry cleaning, very little Diamond parking and not a decent restaurant for miles. Rooms need a complete makeover. Owner was seen walking around turning the thermostats up - to save him some money I expect.
Truely the worst. Never stay here, you'll hate it.

The hotel was run down and many things were out of order - one elevator, the pool, ice machine on my floor. My first room had ants. The 2nd room was generally run down, carpet was sticky, furniture was beaten up, peeling wallpaper.
On a positive note, thé front desk person was great and you are walking distance from great, Chinese food in china town.

You can email the hotel and if it’s available they will have early check in option with additional charge. Otherwise, you can leave your luggage in the front lobby they will keep it until your room is ready. As far as checking out early, yes you can check out anytime you would like though there will not be any discount. But check with the hotel. Staff are super nice and will answer all your concerns. Have fun traveling!

Hello, Very good questions. I have not used the shuttle bus but I do know that they have one. I do not think it will do the run to the airport but I think it will take to to some near by sites. I am not certain of the radius it will travel. They do have a laundry facility. Parking is free and the the room does have a microwave and mini-fridge. I like to stay here because it is next to a Chinese strip mall. There are about 20 places to eat and they just opened a nice oriental market. if you want to stock the fridge with food or snacks. Please let me know how you like it. Thanks for asking, Luis
