It was my first time in Texas and I was really looking forward to my stay, specially when I was told during reservation that I will be upgraded to grande king, and I heard a lot of nice things about museum district. The grande king was not grand at all, just like any standard room, and my view was a...

We had a lovely stay cation at the Hotel Za Za. The decor is very hip, themed rooms available. Loved the lounge area and piano. They served beverages and cookies in the afternoon. Can be pricey, but worth the splurge. Great location near the museum district.

I love this hotel! My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here over the weekend and the staff were pretty amazing. They even upgraded our room because it was our anniversary. Everyone responded to our requests quickly. The room was breathtaking. We will definitely staying here again soon!

Was here for a wedding with friends. Checking in was quick, baggage was taken up quickly to our rooms. The room is a good size, had a balcony but it was a bit humid to sit out. The rooms were very clean, housekeeping did a good job, liked the turn down service. Wish we had a coffee maker in the...

I was here for the last weekend of the Degas exhibit and this was really the only place to stay, since it's right across the street from the art museum. The lobby and all public places are stylish and attractive, down to the koi pond and crystal chandeliers. I had breakfast, lunch and dinner in the hotel restaurant, and the...

Two surprising things: 1. the standard rooms are TINY! Has a queen bed because a king just would not fit in the matchbox sized room. The shower door requires one to shimmy out in order not to fall onto the toilet. And, 2. if you choose to get the complimentary breakfast add-on don't be sad when you cannot get a...

Rockhurst, I sincerely apologize for your less than stellar experience at the hotel. If possible, can you contact me regarding your stay? I would like to get more information about your room type and breakfast service. In regards to the items that you ordered in the restaurant, they are covered by the room package breakfast voucher. The hotel was in a great position for us: very close to the museums we wanted to see and also next to the overground tram for visiting downtown. Our north facing room (907) had a nice view of the city. It was also big. We liked the Monarch restaurant for breakfast though the waitress did get our orders wrong! The...

Really enjoyed my stay, I'm not sure why I thought it would be downtown but it is not far, very clean rooms & I really appreciated the balcony! Very relaxing...only complaint was the valet, no sense of urgency or hustle.. I want to stay @ the Dallas location next! Good job guys!

Really impressed with this hotel. Very accommodating to our large and sometimes rowdy bunch of delegates! The glam indulgent decor I loved. Appreciated the coffee and tea on each floor by the lifts as we had to make early meetings and lectures and visits. Wifi was accessible. The pool was welcome for a dip but the pictures oversold it. It's...

The Za Za is in the museum district, not downtown. Several hotel shuttles will take you around town cost free most any time. And will pick you up. The hotel is comfortable, interestingly outfitted with modern rooms. The staff is first rate; the restaurant very good. And prices are very fair. We will return here when next we visit Houston.
