Terrible stay (and we love Hampton Inn!). Put in room 216... door wouldn't lock - a stiff push would pop it right open... host was able to get us another room (reason it isn't 1 star). Breakfast was terrible... eggs were runny, sausage was burnt... My son got sick in the middle of the night so I went downstairs to get some water - learned later that a bottle of water was $10 each!!! (by contrast, a bottle of Fiji water at Starbucks in the airport was $5!!)... I wasn't thinking of the cost when I purchased it, but who would think a regular bottle of water was $10.... I called to make sure it wasn't a mistake and was told that yes, it was in fact $10...

The good first... the shuttle was good! The driver was fantastic and friendly! The check in was good. Lobby area and elevators could use a good cleaning. The room was not clean. Needed new linens, a wipe down of counters etc. After this it was ok for a very short stay. Cannot rate the breakfast, as we had to leave too early.

My stay at this hotel started off very badly as we waited almost 2 hours for the shuttle to come pick us up at the airport. We finally got an Uber to the hotel. Once we arrived the manager on duty was wonderful, comped us the cost of the Uber. The hotel is clean and comfortable, breakfast in the morning was good (eggs, sausage, toast, cereal, etc). It is a very cheap hotel that is close to IAH airport (10 - 15 minute drive - depending on Houston traffic). I would definitely stay here again but would not trust the shuttle to pick us up.

The best thing about the hotel outside of its convenience location and the super quick and easy airport shuttle is the staff! Erin on check in was amazing, the lady who picked me up in the shuttle was great and then topped off by Titiasha dropping me back at the airport. Culture is a big thing for me.. and these staff have AMAZING culture. It's a credit to the manager. Well done all

Definitely not up to Hilton Standards! Breakfast is a joke. Same thing everyday with the same stuff always out of stock. Room hasn’t been cleaned once the week I’ve been here. They offer one coin op washer and dryer for guests, but no way to get change for the machines. TV barely works (goes in and out) same with WiFi. No outdoor smoking area. Furniture in room was stained. Smallest possible fridge. Light bulbs were burnt out upon check in to room. Coworker staying at the same hotel had bugs in her room. Digital room key does not work, and they get mad when you have to get a new key because you’d de-magnetized. Only light in room is windows and lamps (very dark and hard to see at night). Do not recommend. Save yourself the trouble and stay in the Home 2 Suits next door.

It was the most horrible experience!!! My TV didn’t work and the front desk person had absolutely no interest in helping me. He told me he was busy and that it would take 45 minutes!! I then called another line for a manager who assured me he would be on it and no one ever called or showed up to fix the problem. Then I need a shuttle and they had no shuttles between 12 and 4 pm. So guest had to find their own way to the airport!! RIDICULOUS!! AN AIRPORT HOTEL!!! It was the worst most horrible stay. The staff are rude and have no interest in the comfort of the guest!! There is another Hampton further away STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE!! HORRIBLE!!!

We arrived way past our check in time due to both of our flights being delayed out of the Caribbean and Miami. Got to the hotel around 2am. Staff member Alex was a cold fish, and didn’t greet me as an Honours member. Also he could not explain why a $50 hold was placed on my credit card for our stay, which I had fully prepaid for online. After a few hours sleep my wife and I went down for breakfast, only to discover there was hardly any food available! Imagine only having waffles, dry toast, butter and coffee at the breakfast counter (no eggs, bacon, condiments, cream cheese, jelly etc.) on both mornings of our stay! When I spoke to the front desk attendant, I was informed that the hotel got a new manager and she didn’t order replenishments despite being informed about the food shortage situation for the last few weeks. That is totally unacceptable and disgraceful. Wi-Fi signal was poor to nonexistent in the room so had to use data. I won’t be staying here again. Do better, Hampton. Just do better.

The best part about our stay here was Ms. Dora (the kitchen lady)!!! She always made sure we had enough food to keep our bellies full even though we could tell that there was a shortage of supply! Please give her a raise!!

I don't know what is going on with this hotel. I can tell that housekeeping did not thoroughly clean our room before we checked in. We found a plate of food that was left behind from previous guests. Very disappointing!
