The building was very modern and the room layout was really nice with the kitchenette. In particular, Cordell at the front desk was extremely polite, professional and helpful. We noted a slightly smokey smell in our room upon checkin and he immediately stopped what he was doing and offered to go freshen the room and grabbed a spray bottle! Excellent customer service, his manager should give him a raise!

I evacuated from Hurricane Laura and was staying at another hotel on Old Spanish Trail when I saw the hotel and the rates listed on the hotel bus in the parking lot. I immediately checked out of my hotel and it was the best decision I ever made. The hotel was immaculate and the staff was professional. They checked on me every day and inquired about my well-being. The free breakfast was delicious and the housekeeping staff cleaned my room every time I requested it. I cannot say enough about this hotel. This will be my hotel every time I come to Houston.

They have mold throughout the building roaches and guest are smoking weed and cigarettes all day . The GM was hiring people that were homeless just to give them a job without checking credentials. They have hidden agendas men portraying to be women no maintenance so a/c is never fixed as well as the pool the walls and halls are stained and the have 3 housekeepers to maintain dirty laundry and the ceo Tonya Felts has no care for guest comfort just selling the rooms even when they have to be sprayed down before sell since they are t properly cleaned and I know this through first hand experience. All kinds of outside walk ins just hanging in the lobby it’s just filthy terrible do to person in charge Tonya Felts. And anyone can hire obviously which is safety concern

missing a dryer and smelled very dingy. I tried to call housekeeping to request a hair dryer and a couple towels as our room only had 2 towels for the whole weekend. There was no number to call housekeeping so we went to the front desk to inquire about getting these things. We spoke to Mahogany who seemed annoyed with our requests and said she’d let housekeeping know and they’d bring these things to our room shortly. An hour later we heard nothing so I returned to the front desk and again spoke to Mahogany who seemed exasperated that I was following up on my requests for these items. She opened the drawer on the side of her desk, handed me 2 hand towels and stated they don’t have anymore towels and all they working because we couldn’t even get a hair dryer, towels or follow-up from Mahogany. The next morning a different, helpful employee was working the front desk and was able to assist us and gave us the king bedroom suite that we had paid for. That room was very nice and we had no issues other than the elevators were out of order and we had to use the stairs. The hotel property/area seems dangerous, is unkept, has abandoned hotel cushioned chairs thrown in the back parking lot area, and the carpet in hallways has large brown, dark soiled sections. The stairwell is hot, dingy and the carpet looks as it hadn’t been cleaned in years. Pictures are included in this review. We will not stay here again.

I must say first thing, the room was clean. The staff was very friendly. We checked in after 8 pm and there was only one person working. She was getting it done, but it really is unfair to have her working by herself. That said, the placed smelled lived in, like old cooking oil. My door had a big gap between it and the hallway. The walls were thin. I could hear everyone's conversation at 3 in the morning.... my neighbors were night owls.
The kitchenette had 2 burners, a dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, and small sink.
There weren't any outlets near the bed to plug in my chargers. There is definitely an outlet shortage. I had to use the one in the bathroom. There was one near the couch. I counted 2 available. Most were occupied by the lights of the nightstand. The nightstands did not have an outlet, which I was expecting.
The bathroom sink would not drain.
The roaches were the deal breaker. I just couldn't. We were supposed to stay 2 weeks, I only lasted 1 night.
It is a good deal for the price if you are on a budget. It was roughly $60/ night. I was in town to help with the water crisis and didn't book this hotel. My teammate was suspicious based on the photos on line, but we thought we would check it out regardless.

Cordell was a great representative, very helpful and resourceful. We had forgotten to include a charge unit for our phones and when we inquired, he looked and was unable to find one. Not to be dissuaded, he told us he had a personal one that we could borrow for the evening. Because we were scheduled for several hospital appointments the next day, having a phone that was workable was of paramount importance. Without his help this would not have happened. You are fortunate to have a person of this caliber on your staff. He is management material and should be recognized as such by your organization or he will surely find this opportunity with someone else.

My experience coming here was really well. I came here to celebrate with my family and when we needed something the front office was friendly and made sure we got everything we needed. Also, one of the workers Cordell really held out me and my family out when we needed things and to make the best of our experience. I’m grateful to share my experience with my family here.

They only have 2 luggage carts. We have stayed here multiple times, and more than half the time, there is no cart available when we are checking in or out. My wife and I both have serious medical conditions that require us to carry A LOT of baggage. Neither of us get around very well anymore, so the luggage cart is a huge issue for us. None of the staff have been very helpful. Otherwise, it is exactly what we need. The rates are reasonable and the full kitchen is a real cost saver.
