This property is very nice. It is clean, the staff is courteous and accommodating. Upon arriving I thought I would ask to be upgraded to a suite knowing that is a for sure way to score a king size bed. Hah! they had already booked me into a suite. Bonus! The only con was no ice machine on the 2nd floor only on the 1st and 3rd. The breakfast wasn't great until I discovered the sausage, egg and cheese and bacon, egg and cheese biscuits. These were good and hit the spot. I have stayed in many Sleep Inns in Texas and they are always great properties. This one in Ingleside was the best so far.
Nice clean comfortable hotel. Beds amazing. Front desk and breakfast staff fantastic. Breakfast with plenty of options was appreciated. Small sundries and snack store located next to front desk. Fast food and HEB less than 1/2 mile away. Nothing within walking distance. Recommend.
I am a stand-up comedian of over twenty-five years experience and I was doing a show this past weekend in Port Aransas, TX. I was looking for a room for the night nearby and I found the Sleep Inn & Suites in Ingleside, TX. And all I can say is, "Wow!" There are a number of hotels in the area, but I'm so glad I found this one. You walk through the front door of the lobby and immediately get a taste of everything the Sleep Inn & Suites has to offer. Across from the front desk, you see the large dining area where they offer their free fantastic breakfast. You can also see their impressive workout room as well as signs that point to their other amenities like an outdoor pool, laundry room and business center. A fax and copy machine are also available. I was only their for one night and wished I had more time to take advantage of everything this place had to offer. The room was really beautifully designed with plenty of room for luggage and still space to move around comfortably. A large bathroom, such a plus, that offers all the bells and whistles a weary travelers is looking for. All these things by themselves would be enough for a five star review. But here is where the Sleep Inn & Suites goes above and beyond. When I entered the room I found bottles of water and snacks waiting for me. But there was also a hand written note from Karen. She is the Operations Manager at the Sleep Inn & Suites and also the woman I spoke with when I booked the room. While on the phone I mentioned I was a comedian and in town for a show. The note from Karen read... "Welcome! Hope the show is great! Enjoy your stay! Karen" As I guy who spends a great deal of time living out of a suitcase, I can not tell you just how much something like that is appreciated. As a person who makes his living talking for a living, I don't often say this. But I was speechless. Thank you Karen, your staff and Sleep Inn & Suites.…
I think this is the best Sleep Inn I have ever stayed at. You can smell the cleanliness as soon as you walk in. Great parking and most importantly, comfortable and quiet rooms. Can you believe the ice machines actually work? Would stay here again if given the chance.
Pros: Service was friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean. Mattress and pillows seemed newer. Had a clean fridge n ironing board which both came in helpful. The AC worked well, thank goodness. Cons…? The breakfast coffee wasn’t great, but it wasn’t the worst hotel coffee we’ve had. It seemed like the walls in the bedroom were well insulated, but strangely the connecting bathroom wall seemed paper thin. Price seemed a little high for a budget hotel but to be fair it was considerably lower than the other hotels we were considering in nearby cities. Probably the nicest hotel, actually in Ingleside TX. We’d stay here again.
So we decided to go on a last a last minute road trip to the beach. I tried to book with one hotel and they charged me and then said they didn't have any room available (I got a refund). Then the next hotel got declined because my bank blocked my card because a purchase at 2 different hotels was suspicious. I got it cleared then tried to book it again through the 3rd party site. It went through, then got an email that they were having technical difficulties so they refunded my money. So, I called the hotel and they got me booked in the room I wanted and gave me $5 off my room because of the inconvenience. All the issues I had weren't with the hotel, they were with the sites. So I was already happy because who doesn't like to save money. We walked into our room and found this. I mentioned that I had my 5 year old son with me so she left stuff for him too. This made my day. They went above and beyond and they never did anything wrong. Loving this place already so far 🥰💞…
Hotel is 17 Miles from Selena Memorial. I picked off Priceline because I got a decent deal. The rooms looked bigger in the pictures. (Small but clean and new). No breakfast ( just rolls) because of Covid 19. Pool is very small. If you are looking just for a place to spend a night good hotel for it.
Very friendly staff and very clean and comfortable beds. Complimentary breakfast and dinner was great. Lupita the hostess was very friendly and attentive. The only complain I could actually have is that they’re was no outlets close to the tv.
