This was such a surprise! I didn't think this place would be so nice! The rooms are beautiful and clean! You do have everything you need, also there is a kitchen, outside barbecue, swimming pool and best thing is the 'hangover/chilling spot xD Breakfast is very good too, enough choices (pastries, bread, ham, cheeses, jams, butter, honey etc etc, cereals, fruits, yoghurt, juices, coffee (warm milk!), and everything tastes good! But, above all -> Filipe!!! so kind and helpful! The owner (it's a family business) Filipe is the sweetest guy ever. He is so welcoming, always does everything to help and really makes you feel like you are home! Also I had a friend who stayed with me after a wedding and there was no problem at all even if I actually booked for one person! I definitely recommend this place, solo, with friends or family, such a good place to stay! Hopefully back one day!!!!! I had a wonderful time! …
Nice small complex with 9 appartements. Beautiful grounds and great swimming pool. Philip is a great host! Breakfast was plentiful. Pooltable was fun. Short car drive to beach. Santa cruz is nice! You definetly need a car to get somewhere even through they supply bikes.
The owners were very friendly and helpful, and the facilities are good, but I am surprised none of the reviews have mentioned the location. The hotel is in an unattractive suburb in a run down town, surrounded by building sites and scrubland. What you can’t see in the photos is that the rooms and garden are overlooked by the shabby surrounding properties, which we found somewhat spoiled the atmosphere.
This is by far the best place to stay in Santa Cruz. Filipe is very hospitable and the rooms are very stylish and rustic. There is a great chillout area and the pool is a decent size. At breakfast tney have thought of everything, even bacon and eggs! We only stayed 4 days and it wasnt enough....
Filip and his family is running an impeccable gem of a boutique hotel. Filip is one of those rare people who really aims to please and goes over and above constantly.we stayed here for 10days last week and we were very happy. The Vila is a traditional beautiful house, very clean and stylishly decorated.The pool is big and the manicured garden is a great asset and the rooms are well appointed and showers are hot and powerful!The breakfast is also great! A perfect place to stay while exploring the surf between Ericeira and Peniche, located in silveira just a few minutes drive from the little beachtown Santa Cruz. If you don’t feel like driving Silveira has a range of great Resturants just around the corner. We would definitely stay here again!
