Lovely innkeepers, with a servant heart, Stephanie and Tom will  help with anything you'd like to do in Jefferson or surrounding areas.. What a great historical town.  Food is top shelf gourmet.  Rooms are very clean and comfotable.  Tom & Stephanie seem to really enjoy making their guest comfortable and it shows. We will definitely return and stay at The...

Jefferson is a nice get away little town, with shopping and festivals throughout the year. The Carriage House is walking distance to downtown and other events. The owners, Tom and Stephanie Lester, are very knowledgable with the town activities and had great recommendations of things for us to do. This made our weekend most enjoyable. The Carriage House has several...

The weekend we spent at the Carriage House is a definite repeat. We found the inn keepers, Tom and Stephanie, to be gracious, accommodating and very knowledgeable about the area and history of Jefferson. Being of Norwegian descent, we particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast treats prepared by Stephanie ( she is the only one that can pronounce them) Tom encouraged...

I find myself going to Jefferson when I need a break from life. The Carriage House is so close to downtown that going back and forth between visits to local shops and restautants is very convenient. Tom and Stephanie always do a great job and feel like family now. Coffee in the Courtyard, great breakfasts, comfortable beds, and nice cool...

Jefferson has many bed and breakfasts and the Carriage House is a good choice. The positives: Stephanie is a fantastic hostess - kind, knowledgeable, helpful, personable, not overbearing, laid back. There are many comfortable common areas to spend your time, both inside and outside. Fresh cookies brought to your room daily, complimentary snacks, water, and sodas available as well as...

We picked this B&B because of its great location, but we're pleased to find much more. From the friendly and knowledgeable owner, to the food and service, everything was perfect. We will be back with family and friends to see the many treats of Jefferson we missed the first time .

We just had a great visit to the Carriage House. The 5 star ratings were right on. The innkeeper did a great job of welcoming us without being overbearing. It was very professional and all requests were met when asked. The breakfast was very good as well as the complimentary water and sodas for guests. It was recommended to our...

We traveled to Jefferson with two other couples and chose this place because of a special that we saw on the internet.Boy, did we get a deal! We stayed in the carriage house behind the main house and because we had three rooms, it was like having our own private place. There was a pretty courtyard, where coffee was served...

We stayed two nights at Carriage House and found it to be a lovely and comfortable place to stay in Jefferson. The location is perfect, within walking distance to the historic downtown district. We felt like we had stepped into Mayberry, USA. There were many shops and museums to visit, or you could just sit on the porch swing and...

My mother and I had a great weekend at the Carriage House! We stayed in the Ruth Lester room. It was very comfortable and well air conditioned (this can often be a problem in Texas during the summer). The breakfast was wonderful and we enjoyed the extra "perks"! Coffee was served every morning in the courtyard which my mother loved...
