The Inn of Jefferson was a disappointment this time. We visit Jefferson every year and have stayed here several times. This time, however will be the last. On the good side, our room was clean and the beds comfortable. However, if you want hot water in your shower, or a full set of towels, even after asking for them, stay...

The inn was over priced. We was charged ninety dollars for a room with wall paper coming off the wall, no telephone, a smell, stain carpet, and half of an headboard. The clerk offered us twenty dollars off. I asked him if he would put his wife and baby in a room like that. Oh and the frame of the...

If I could give this place a 0 rating I would. 1. We asked for a non smoking room and was given a smoking room (ash tray pictured) 2. It was a 2nd floor room and I was very afraid that I was going to fall through the floor because of all of the holes they cover up with plywood...

Cons: Needs a update from towels to light fixtures to bathroom. Not replacing toiletries daily or sheets. Pros: LCD TV, cold a/c, cheap price. When you enter the room there is a musty smell and will continue to smell throughout your say unless you and air freshner. The trash buckets aren't emptied on a daily bases. Towels are changed out when...

Last year I stayed at this hotel and it was pretty good for the price. Yesterday, my wife and I got a non-smoking room that smelled of smoke. Further, there was little paper in the bathroom and no spare rolls. The towels were not folded very well. Bed not made very well. When we got up in the morning, I...

In multiple ways, the Inn of Jefferson was a disappointment during the five nights we were there recently. They do not always empty all the waste baskets. The ice machine is often very low on ice. The "breakfast" is less than meager. They are stingy with towels. While making up our rooms when we were out, they turned down the...

Every time my husband and I went to Jefferson to antique shop we would stay at the Inn of Jefferson, but not anymore. It has gone down hill. Our non-smoking room smelled of smoke, the sink is cracked, the bath tub is terrible. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I have to say that this place did have nice rooms. I reading some reviews they said the rooms needed renovation, maybe some, but my room was very nice inside. Service was great at the front desk. They had a good hot breakfast, better than some places that I've stayed at. If back in town again, I would stay here...

Only stay here if you have no other choice, which is what happened to our family. We came into town for the Jeffferson Tx Pilgrimage. This hotel needs a major renovation, especially the room we stayed in and also there was a no smoking sign on the door but our room reeked of smoke. Also, if you can't sleep due...

“If you do stay here ask for rooms in the back. It will keep road noise down and the west sun out of your room. If you are a hunter and early riser then I suppose this doesn't matter. If you are used to clean rooms without stains and used soap then don't stay here.”
