The reward for the hardest day of the Way was the best accommodation we experienced. Stunning location and quality. The Hayloft is exceptional. Our colonial cousins across the Pond would find it breathtaking!! Our breakfast was one of Kings and we couldn't be too much trouble for our magnificent host Ian. A true gentlemen in every sense. After a difficult...

What a pleasure to spend about three days at the Old Rectory. The breakfasts were great, the accommodation was very comfortable, the bath was a treat. The host Ian was so friendly and helpful, and made you feel comfortable and right at home. We used the Old Rectory as a base to visit the area and it made everything really...

A beautiful en-suite room, with a beautiful view. Ian was incredibly friendly and made us feel most welcome. Everything about this B and B is very highly recommended and most definitely an address to remember. We definitely needed a GPS to find it!

We love staying at The Old Rectory and cannot fault it. Brilliant host, lovely rooms, top class breakfast and excellent location. Ian goes beyond "the call of duty", as mentioned before, he has guests without transport and "taxis" them to the local hostelry. I don't need to say anymore, this place is outstanding and we can't wait to return!

Located in a beautiful area, this bed and breakfast has everything you need. The proprietor is a very warm and welcoming host, with lots of information about the local area. He happily gave us and another party a lift to a nearby pub for our evening meal which is really going above and beyond. Very clean and comfortable rooms and...

We were walking the Cleveland way so stopped at a number of places, this was the best. We were welcomed with a cold drink after a long days walk, shown to a beautiful large room with private bathroom, spotlessly clean. Ian the host even drove us to a pub for dinner. The hosting is friendly, unobtrusive but accessible, and with...
