We enjoyed our stay here. The animals in the lobby were a big attraction for our little one. Service was fast and friendly, and the lunch buffet at the restaurant offered a wide variety of tasty choices. We'd love to go back.

The lobby is beautiful but the rooms need some serious updating. Coffee without sugar or creamer. Frig looks really beaten up. Beds are okay but not luxurious. Comfort Inn does a better job. AND why is it that ALL hotels have toilets so low it's almost impossible to get up off them? Restaurant is run of the mill, nothing special.

We were visiting friends close by. The Hotel Lobby is Gorgeous, and the staff super friendly and helpful. Parking is free and convenient. The room was large, dated and dark. The bed was comfy and the linens nice and soft. The room smelled like roach killer, and it never dissipated even after three nights. The bathroom was clean, and dated. We...

Entire family stayed here. Hotel was very nice, restaurant and saloon bar were very good. We had a king suite. Excellent room, two baths, living room and wet bar. Price was not that much more than a king room. We do need to mention that John at the front desk was outstanding. He was extremely helpful and friendly. He's a...

Very large complex with very friendly staff. Check in was easy at 6:00pm with no waiting. I'm sure this was a grand hotel at one time but the section we we assigned was 194 and the rooms were very dated. Heating and cooling is performed by a window unit. The bedding needs to be replaced as it was old and...

Stayed here 2 nights so that we could attend a friend's wedding. The staff is friendly but inattentive to requests. Beds and pillows very uncomfortable. Rooms aren't as clean as they should be, no attention to detail...baseboards and toilet very nasty. The whole place is very dated and needs to be remodeled desperately! I will say the pool area and...

Rooms were very worn. Neighbors were all heard! Toilets, showers, walking etc all heard! The 'patio' was a door that opened to the parking lot. No screen so I couldn't even air out the mustiness of the room. Beds were comfortable, ice was close by. Convenient to other destinations. Just needs updating. Maids did clean well. Small fridge and hair...

Past it's prime as the leading detestation for the cowboy rich Texas Hill Country. Billed as a resort property, maybe 10 to 20 years ago. The room had a cold feeling with Saltillo floor tile (no rugs), small skimpy photos on the wall, lumpy bed and old style bathroom. On the plus side, the room was large and appeared clean....

We ate a lovely meal here with family. My in-laws got the buffet and enjoyed it. I had the chicken parmesan and loved it. My husband had the ruben sandwich and was very pleased. I thought the dinning room was very pleasant and was classic texas. We did not stay all night in the hotel.

At the beginning of the week I was prepared to give a 3 star rating due to the lack of execution of scheduled surprises I had arranged for my mom. But by yesterday Fay (one of the hotel's directors) had set all to right again. She is a joy to work with and took my concerns to heart. As for...
