I love to stay in B&B with character, and Eve's Garden beats them all! We (husband, 10 year-old son, and myself) stayed 6 nights and it was a wonderful experience. Eve's Garden is not really a B&B, it is a piece of art. The architecture, the paintings, the objects, the plants, the flowers, the food -- all is a piece...

My husband and I spent Easter weekend at Eve's Garden B&B. It was our first time staying at a B&B so we didn't know what to expect. The accommodations were amazing. We arrived a little before the checkin time, but all arrangements had been made if we did arrive early. There was a note on the front door welcoming us,...

Our hosts and the other guests were so friendly! It was a little unconventional - my sister and I loved all the funky touches - greenhouse, architecture, etc.! The only downside was the late start for breakfast (9am) since it's such a long haul to Big Bend, but it gave us an excuse to relax and sleep in, so no...

Eve's has become our home away from home when visiting the Big Bend. The breakfast are always hot, fresh, and organic and the rooms are comfortable and cozy. There is a large green house, filled with flowers, herbs, and vegetables that serves as an atrium for all the guest to hang out and enjoy. The star of the show at...

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Eve's garden. The room was incredibly comfortable and the food was delicious. This was completely different from anything we had experience and we really valued our time here. We felt a total sense of peace the entire time :) our hosts were incredibly accommodating as well. Would go back in a...

High domed adobe walled blue room with a lovely tangerine bathroom. Door in bath leads to a walled patio facing west for great sunsets and a perfect place to sit and star gaze as the sky is incredible. Room opens into the greenhouse and the garden it contains full of plants and flowers. Owners are friendly, helpful and well traveled...

Really friendly host/owner at this Bed and Breakfast hotel. Good proximity to Big bend National Park. Unfortunately limited dining options in the town of Marathon and, in general, Marathon has little to offer except for being a stopping off point.

Eve's Garden puts the rest of the options in West Texas to shame: rooms that open into a greenhouse/courtyard make a cozy, quiet atmosphere that's welcoming and refreshing... the textures and colors are intensely combined for a visual feast and every time you visit, *something* is different - it's a beautifully morphing experiment! Every breakfast is a new experience for...

A lovely, unique and memorable bed and breakfast. We stayed 4 nights on a Big Bend trip. Very different experience than the usual bed & breakfast... lap pool, indoor patio for relaxing, coffee room with a free beer keg and star viewing patio, not to mention the gardens! Breakfast was absolutely wonderful. We will come back.

A n unusual B&B with all sorts of wonderful extras, ranging from an indoor garden (enclosed in the winter), lap pool heated by passive solar, and the best baked goods at breakfast in Marathon especially since Shirley's Burnt Biscuit closed. We choose Eves in place of the more famous Gage Hotel in Marathon because of its individuality. This is a...
