Been to the restaurant twice while visiting and staying with local friends. Great food, drinks and service. Enjoy walking the lobby and courtyard. Would love to stay there. Impressed with the place and that's without seeing a room.

This lovely, quaint hotel was charming and has a great restaurant! It is noisy due to the train that passes by several times during the early morning. However, I think that you would hear it no matter where you stay in Marfa. We also had zero water pressure from the bathroom sink but the shower was overpowered. The patio was... More

Reservations and reception including front desk were flawless. Our room, #117 was ready and clean. This hotel was designed by prominant architect Henry Trost. Spacious lobby and also a sitting area. Also a courtyard in center. Listed in National Register of Historic Places.

We spent two nights here while visiting West Texas. The hotel is charming and the staff is extremely flexible, especially when we had to change our nights there. The rooms were clean and large. The hotel is in a great location close to many things. We will be back!

I am a huge fan of the movie GIANT so had planned to stay here the one night I was in Marfa. After seeing the lobby and courtyard, I decided to stay in Alpine instead. This place is badly in need of a makeover.

I am totally biased in favor of the Hotel Pisano. It evokes memories and dreams of days past but is totally modern and comfortable. I've been going to the Hotel Pisano for many years but unfortunately I was not there In1955 when Giant was being filmed. I love my Mother more than life but I might never forgive her for... More

People were friendly but overall our room was so outdated and stuffy we tolerated the stay. Bathroom was terrible in our room with a corner shower with no enclosure, just a dip in the floor and a shower curtain that you had to press into in order to shower to make room. Could brush teeth at sink, use the toilet... More

What a nice surprise to stumble upon the sister hotel to the El Capitan in Van Horn, TX. We didn't know it was here until we drove downtown and there it was! We made sure we came back for dinner (5pm) and we were not disappointed. It is a larger hotel than the Van Horn property but just as beautiful... More

The elegance of this historic 1930s-era Pueblo Revival meets Art Deco delight has been retained and enhanced, modernised only in ways virtually undetectable, to meet the expectations of modern travellers. The guestrooms, though compact, are stylish and extremely comfortable and many open out to private terraces. The public areas reward a relaxed examination while Jett’s Grill has a menu and... More

We hopped inside the hotel to see the historic aspects as well as grab a drink. The ambiance is great as is the history of the hotel. The hotel itself is in the heart of the tiny downtown district Marfa has. Make sure to grab your drink and head to the courtyard.
