the room was new, clean and comfortable and the addition of a desk and sofa made it a "suite". However if you are looking for more than the average microwave and mini fridge that is standard in most hotel rooms, this isn't the place for you. We recently stayed 4 days between selling our home and moving into the new one. We had to go out for all meals and snacks as there was minimal ability to do more than boil water.
This is a pretty decent hotel. I would stay again. I had a few issues before even getting my room. My key did not work on any door and after a lot of back and forth and the front desk guy coming with a device to try and check it and it still not working had to try and find me another room on a very full night. I finally was able to get a room, I was frustrated however, I am aware that things happen and it wasn't their fault the door was not working, darn technology has its faults. I can say that the room was very nice the a.c. worked great, everything was clean, the bed was so very comfortable, there were plenty of pillows on the bed and very fluffy. Loved that there were reading lights attached to the bed, plenty of room lighting. There was a microwave and mini fridge that was hidden in plain site. The bathroom was a decent size it was placed in the middle of the room so when you turn the light on in the bathroom it did produce a lot of light for anyone in the bed, however there was a light for the shower which made it a lot better. the closet was HUGE, there was also an extra blanket and pillow in there as well as a iron and ironing board. I was looking for a luggage rack, but it was built above the A.C. unit which was, nice it didn't seem to mess with the function of the air flow, (my suitcase wasn't that big either.) Now the TV which was actually in a nice spot, seemed to also be weirdly placed, while it did come out and was able to be rotated, didn't rotate fully but was still visual from the further bed. There was plenty of plugs, and a nice desk which had glass sliders if you needed to see over into the bedding area. There is plugs and USB ports on the nite stand. The hotel has a huge screen in the lobby that can be written on so that was nice my son drew on it while I was checking in, there were nice messages written on it as well. There was hand sanitizer located through out, mask are required through out the hotel. There was a grab and go breakfast that was available (even though I missed it, however the lady at front desk was nice and brought me out some muffins and juice…
My family consisted of my husband, 18 year old son, 15 year old and 13 year old daughters and myself stayed here for a one night stay. We had a roll-away bed brought to the room so everyone had their own bed with 2 queens and a sofa sleeper. The rooms are modern, great size bathroom, desk space, and kitchenette. The green tea shampoo/conditioner is always a hit with my family here. The hotel is located near lots of shopping and food. Amazing location. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
I was surprised to see the rate for one night was only $97. Our stay was fantastic. The suite was clean and modern; very newly finished. The beds were comfortable and the linens were clean and fresh. Breakfast was the standard hotel fare, but it worked and it was free. We stayed on the 4th floor and it was perfect. I will stay here again on my return trip for sure. (There’s plenty of places to eat at nearby, as well as shopping).
New hotel and usual standard Marriott quality. Friendly staff but still learning. Titanium member but not recognized at check-in and not asked about my gift or points. Billing was suppose to be direct billing to NCAA but my card was charged. Lighting is so-so in the rooms as noted. Good lighting on the bed, average in the rest of the room. Did not find any issues with outlets as there were numerous ones that worked. Coffee maker, fridge and microwave. Toilet is one of those very low ones which can be an issue. Wonder how long the towel rack is going to stay on the wall as that is how you have to pull yourself up. No problem with sink plug. Lots of shelf space. We were on the fourth floor and it was very quiet. One review said that there was not cereal, waffles or other items but the breakfast had all those and more. Fresh fruit, oatmeal, breads and muffins, cold cereal, yogurt, eggs and meat, etc. breakfast person is a gem! Friendly and very good at her job. Even with a packed house she kept things up. Housekeeping was mixed in four nights. Bathroom was kept very clean. Bed was some what made two nights and well made the other two nights. Coffee replaced one night and not another or decaf only another. Staff was great in assisting us with the officiating crew and our meetings. Great job! Front desk seemed unable to correct payment error. Good hotel with need to improve in some areas.…
