We stayed here with our two kids. The rooms are average size for an older hotel. The beds are very comfortable and service was great. It's right in the middle of the town with shopping in walking distance.

This hotel is SO cool for it’s decor and location. We stayed in the suite there on our wedding night and it was beautiful. The service though, my god! Everybody we encountered looked pissed to work there. We ordered room service and no words were spoken from the lady who delivered. She walked in, put it down and left. The... More

We love the comfort of our local Downtown McKinney hotel. The beds are great and the A/C doesn't cut out on you in the night as you sleep. The robes provided are a nice touch but watch out for the bleach. When we were in line to check in for our Romance package, we heard the couples request for TV... More

My wife and I were taking a trip to Dallas and decided to leave a day early from Tulsa. All of the hotels in the DFW area that were looked into were booked that single day. We decided to look a little further out and found this hotel in McKinney. We made the reservation and the drive from Oklahoma to... More

We stayed at the Grand Hotel while visiting McKinney to attend a wedding. I called to make our reservations and was told that there was only one room left and it had no window. Confussed thinking that would be against every building safety code in existence I asked if that would make it a closet instead of a room, but... More

The hotel is very nice and the rooms are beautifully decorated in the "old" style. Unless you don't care, be careful that you get a room with a window. We purposely asked for the double queen room because the hotel description stated that the king room does not have a window. Beware, some of the double queen rooms, which cost... More

Our room 209 and bathrooms were very small - loud at night (until 11) we were here on a weekend weekend - great location - older quaint quirky hotel - I liked it as right on the square - the more location matters the better it is - we were here for weekend wedding - it worked out fine

Hotel location is great , right on the square. However, all rooms are not created equal. The room we had the first night was so small and over crowded with furniture ( although no chair or flat surface to put things on :/) that only one of us could be up walking around at a time . Fortunately we were... More

If I could rate this hotel zero I would! For starters the girl at the check in counter was extremely rude. There was a mix up on our reservation, which I thought got straightened out when I called 3 day before and was assured it had (by the very same girl that checked us in). I had booked a king... More
