We spent one night here before heading to Tikal. Rooms are on the small side, but good A/C, clean and enough power outlets to charge your stuff. Great view of the lake from our room, and the hotel is very conveniently located near shopping and...More

Likes: great location on the island. Very clean and staff helpful. Well located for restaurants, supermarket and ATM located behind hotel. Swimming pool and spa very clean and well maintained .
My family of four stayed in room 45 on the top floor. There were three double beds crammed into the room - looked much smaller than the triple room shown on the website and booking.com. The hotel is very quaint, and the pool is super....More
Despite arriving at 8am, we found that our room was ready for us. It was comfortable, if a bit cramped, with reliable hot water and a semi-reliable air conditioner which the staff promptly fixed when the remote control stopped working. From outside our room, we...More

I am not sure about the airport related part of the question. However, regardign Tikal, you really are best to have a guide take you out there. There are numerous places in town (not far from the hotel) who offer tours. Negotiate, be prepared to walk away in order to get the best price possible. My recommendation is that you sign up for a sunrise tour. They will pick you bright and early from the hotel. The cost is slightly higher for this tour, but the experience is so worth it. The tour will be done by like 10 AM and then you can go back to the hotel and relax in the pool. Another option would be to hire a lancha to take you across the lake.

I stayed there last summer, while the hotel doesn't have it's own parking there is parking on the streets, which means you get whatever space you can find to park in...no guarantees. I really enjoyed staying at the hotel.
