Worst hotel on our trip. We had a downstairs room by the pool which was in desperate need of a lick of paint and a second Tap in the sink. V noisy air conditioning unit. Thankful only had 1 night stop over there for early morning trip to chichen itza. Avoid if you can.

This hotel is located right in between the lake an a busy street, the breakfast is like a home made Guatemalan Breakfast which included coffee and Papaya Juice, we spent 2 nights in this hotel, you can walk through the streets at night looking for a restaurant, a bar or just walk by the lake, we went to the ruins... This is my hotel of preference whenever traveling to San Benito/San Francisco or Flores Peten. The staff are almost always friendly and helpful, the rooms are very clean and air conditioning is always a plus. The view over the lake is beautiful! Free WiFi is a must and they have it, also have a computer you can use in the... More

Had a nice lake view. Close to the dock, and the bridge to walk to the mall. Breakfast included, and was good, with egg made to order, fruit, coffee, and juice. Rooms are old. Door did not lock well, so you have to double check. Bathroom door did not lock, nor latch. Small balcony for you to step out and... More

The Hotel isla Granda is beautifully located opposite across the water from to St Helena on your right as you arrive on Flores Island by the causeway. This is an old splendour hotel by its looks but the charm stops right here. The rooms are comfortables although not all of the same size. There is no fridge or tea or... More

After Casa Santo Domingo and Hotel Atitlan, this hotel was a bit primitive. It was clean, but outdated. Cost was $80 a night. The manager at the desk was so very nice! Unfortunately, I did not get his name. Flores is a five block island with several places to eat and drink. While I didn't go inside other hotels, they... More

Same owner as the Jungle Lodge? There is minimal staffing. Construction was taking place on upper floors; couldn’t get to room one day Cheap motel with thrift shop furnishings Okay lodging for just crashing & burning Clean linens, adequate shower, Cessna ceiling fan Good breakfast of scrambled eggs, beans, plantains, fruit, toast, & coffee

We stayed here two nights and had a wonderful stay. It wast so much the hotel, which was nice, but more so. The service. AMAZING. Arthur (I think, the manger), went above and beyond to make our stay great. He aloe made the stay worth it. The staff is very attentive. Would stay again!u

Perfect location to stay in Flores. Secure place. Lovely staff, who went the extra mile to accommodate us. The building is very elegant and maintains its glory. Sweet swimming pool when the weather permits. Lovely views of the lake and Santa Elena across the water.

“Get a room facing the lake!”

“You must get a water view room or not stay. The other rooms don't even have a balcony however small it is. Saturdays and possibly Fridays can be noisy due to some disco clubs or bars competing for the most loud music. If you must have total silence for your sleep please consider the other side of Flores. Finally, ground floor rooms are totally dark. Start from level 1 and up.”
