if you are planning to swim your are better off in the indoor pool. it is far too cold for swimming in athens in march and no, the outdoor pool is not heated.
No they don't, you'll either have to get a taxi (very expensive) or will need to catch public transport.
We used public transport to get to athens (bus and then underground) and it cost about £3 each, but took forever.
