My elderly father stayed at this hotel While visiting our relatives in pinto Madrid. He unfortunately sustained a fall and broke his pelvis. In those uncertain times the hotel staff at Indiana hotel went beyond the call and assisted my father in finding him a more comfortable room and arranging for extended lodging while he received emergency care at their local hospital. We are forever grateful to the hotel staff for their kindness.
This hotel is clean and reception friendly however the hotel is located in the heart of an urbanisation with no exclusive parking, you have to drive around the nearby streets looking for a space, not easy . It took us 20 mins to find a space, I would not return for that reason.
As mentioned elsewhere this is a very bright quirky sort of hotel. We booked direct with the hotel on line. It was the same price as booking sites and extremely good value at the time we stayed (February). By booking direct (it was in Spanish but straight forward enough), we got a De Lux room at the same price. Large Double bed, separate sitting area and 2 TV’s (no English Channels). Lovely large bathroom. The hotel was well looked after and very clean. Reception staff very nice and spoke English. The breakfast is one of the best we have had. Excellent albeit with limited hot choice but plenty of everything else. The hotel is very convenient as an overnight stopover on the North South journey. It is only about 5 minutes from the main motorway. However if you have a car, I suggest you confirm the availability of parking as there are only 8 spaces in their very tight garage. Otherwise street parking would be difficult. Parking costs 9 Euros. Pinto appears to be a safe and pleasant suburb of Madrid. Excellent value and highly recommended.…
The hotel has a bright orange theme, walls, carpets, decor. Takes some getting used to, pretty wacky, but different. The room had cartoon characters all over the wall, which was actually quite fascinating.
Hello from Cartagena. Hotel Indiana is the best hotel of PINTO. The rooms are very confortable and clean. People are vary friendly. The breakfast is well. However the hotel hasnt enouhg parking. You have to park the car at the street.
When I tell you DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! First of all when we arrived we noticed there were some weird stains on our bed sheets, we called reception and the lady kindly came to change it straight away and apologised. Then we looked in the bathroom and saw a lot of mould by the shower (see pics) but we just decided to let it go and not bother saying anything. Two days later, we went down for breakfast and had our room cleaned. I came back to the room and noticed BLOOD STAINS on the pillow case where I put my head! (See pics) I went down to speak with reception and the RUDE (male staff) said to me, this is one of those things that just happen -__- I was very annoyed and he didn't even apologise and he just said to me what do I want him to do ( by this time, the cleaner changed another one already). After an exchange of words 10 mins later he said sorry (again in a rude manner). Honestly his nonchalant attitude was the worst part. This hotel does not even deserve the one star but because you have to put at least one- there you go! Worst experience ever!! Plus it's far from the train station and the trains tickets are expensive and it's basically outside Madrid. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT ALL. Unless you wanna sleep in some else's blood and shower in mould. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Plus they barely speak English. And the wifi is super slow. Our Whole floor constantly smelt like smoke which was not a plus for us considering we're not smokers.…
The Indiana hotel is located in central Pinto. This means that parking - although free in the area - can be a bit of a problem. We did manage to find spaces within 3 minutes walking, though. The interior of the hotel is funky modern with everything in white and bright orange, which we, as 'Dutchies', liked a lot. Te atmosphere is rather cool though. The rooms are surprisingly large and decorated originally, but also a bit cool. Perhaps due to the use of tiles instead of carpets on the floor. The bathroom was bright red with solid see through glass sink and basin. Real neat! The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean, although I must say that upon moving the sofa we did find a string of toiletpaper that could have been used for....whatever...... Breakfast is very good: pleanty of choices and readily refilled when something runs out. Good coffee and juice! I recommend!…
We used this hotel as a one night stopover from Bilbao to the Costas. It was clean and comfortable with a very generous sized room and bathroom. The staff were very friendly and helpful and even spoke some English. The inclusive breakfast was more than ample to send us on our way. The only criticism is no bedside lights for reading but the featured lighting was attractive.
We stayed here for two nights, the rooms were clean and the bathroom was big with a massive shower! The breakfast was good The only downside was that our shower wasn't working properly for some reason, it kept over flooding and we had to call reception when we had just arrived because before we realized while I was unpacking our bags and my partner was having a shower there was water everywhere! We told them and they took a while to come up to our room as they didn't seem too interested, and when they eventually did they said they would come back later on to mop the water, but the water was all the way into the bedroom... we went out for dinner and they still hadn't clean it up so we had to use the towels... the problem kept going and I would have guessed they would change our room but they didn't which was a bit disappointing, other than that it was a nice stay. …
This hotel has everything to be a solid 4 stars one, but falls short in many categories. The rooms are really good with all of them being large, differently styled with giant bathrooms and rain shower heads. Cleaniness is acceptable, but not spectacular. Breakfast lacks some very simple items like eggs or anything vegetable-like, but what is there is of good quality and very presentable. Service desk is friendly and with a good level of English for non-Spanish speakers. I would stay there again if there is no better option, but it is a shame that a great artsy idea is not working to its full potential.
