Amazing hotel. Grounds are immaculate, rooms are spacious and comfortable, has great amenities, and service is just exceptional. We didn’t encounter a single staff member who wasn’t friendly and kind. Food at Island Brasserie was overall delicious (breakfast was average but dinner made up for it). We are picky but would recommend this hotel without hesitation to anyone.

Hotel's Favourite
What a beautiful hotel. About 15 mns from Front Street and just a lovely and beautiful resort. VERY QUIET in the winter but that’s understandable. The beautiful ladies at the front desk were killer. Awesome recommendations about activities and went out of their way to make my stay luxurious and filled with activities I loved. MONICA at the boutique. Let’s finish there. Amazing, helpful and kind! A gem. I was there long enough the staff and I exchanged Christmas cards! Thank you for everything. Ps. Monica I got your note and sending love from the US!!!

The Rosewood though expensive, is a gorgeous hotel. We paid extra for a larger room with a view of the bay and it was worth it. We preferred the smaller pool in the main building. The shuttle to the beach is fast; about 5 minutes and a gorgeous ride especially in the golf cart. The beach is gorgeous but slightly rough but fun if you don't mind waves. Also water temperature was pleasant. The Beach Club is lovely; so was lunch and dinner there. The setting of the Italian restaurant at the golf club is nice. The breakfast pastries were really not good. The food was passable. The afternoon tea sandwiches were wonderful. We opted not to have the full $54 tea but I heard that it was great. Luca (I think it's his name) at the front desk was wonderful and very helpful. However the person who checked us in took us to the room and said nothing. All he wanted to do is run back to the front desk. Generally they are supposed to explain the room and tell us a bit about the hotel. Afternoon tea in some Bermuda hotels is complimentary. When I asked I was told it was included in the hotel room. It wasn't. The person at the bar from India who served us our afternoon tea was very friendly and helpful. On our last day we asked that the hotel give us a wake up call at 6.45 AM with a follow up call at 7 AM. They did not do it. For a hotel that charges 4 figures per night one would think they could do this. Fortunately we woke up ourselves. We visited other hotels on the island and this hotel was really the nicest. But we also liked the St. Regis near St. George with it's calm beach / ocean.

Dear semsemsemsem, Thank you for sharing your experience with us at Rosewood Bermuda. We are thankful for your kind and honest feedback. We appreciate you highlighting both the positive experiences such as the service of our team members like Luca and our servers at the Conservatory Bar, and also the opportunities for improvement including the missed opportunities to demonstrate the room features, and the missed wakeup call. Our team strives to improve each guests' experience, so your feedback is vital to helping our team. We do hope to welcome you back for a return stay, and for the opportunity to cover those gaps in service and improve upon your impression of the hotel. Best regards, Sascha Hemmann Managing Director at Rosewood Bermuda

My husband and I recently stayed at the Rosewood July 6th until July 9th. The property is outstanding and the room I initially booked was on the 5th floor overlooking the harbor. The room was fabulous and I felt immediately at peace yet energized. Unfortunately, it rained on our second night and there was a leak in the room. This caused us to have to move rooms. The room we were moved to had a less spectacular view and looked smaller. I was willing to accept this as it was 1 night though I was not happy, I understood that the staff did not control the weather. Unfortunately, when we arrived to the room we were greeted by a very rude house maid that was yelling at us that the room was not ready and she needed to inspect. We attempted to explain that we had been asked to move but she kept yelling. This was a less than welcoming experience to an already frustrating and annoying situation. This is where Josh came in to save the day, improve our previous experience and to provide excellent and empathetic service. Upon arriving to the front desk I requested to speak with the General Manager and I was directed to Josh. Josh not only listened to our concerns and experience he did something about it. He provided us with a room upgrade that was so impressive I never wanted to leave? He extended us a complimentary lunch and dinner but more importantly he understood how important it was to make us feel at home away from home. I would definitely recommend this property. Our overall experience was a positive one with the exception of the housekeeper which I am sure can be solved quickly to avoid ruining the reputation and experience at this property. It is not that things won't go wrong but it is always the way the staff handles challenging situations that can make or break one's vacation memories. Thank you so much Josh, you are an excellent Manager and wish you continued success. You made the ending of our stay and 14 year anniversary trip a beautiful and memorable one!
