Are you seeking solitude? Do you long for peace and quiet? How about NOT sharing a wall, floor or ceiling with a potpourri of strangers in a hotel? Then Homestead Cottages is the place for you. My husband and I spent 3 lovely nights there. The cottages are very sweet. No, you won't have cell service; no, the tv channels...

Homestead Cottages are cozy and very quiet. It's so tucked away that you will not even receive cell service. The fresh orange juice left in the fridge each day was a nice touch. My one recommendation would be for them to add land lines to each cottage in the even of an emergency. The inn keepers Laura and Walter were...

I enjoyed staying at Homestead Cottages, it was nice. Even though the breakfast that was given in a big basket every morning didn't have so many delicious stuff in it - I only enjoyed the granola, but maybe thay's because I'm just very picky. ;) The location is also good - just about 10 minutes from supermarkets and it wasn't...

my husband and i stayed in the Stargazer loft and used the location as a base for hiking in Yosemite. whilst you will be about an hour's drive from the national park, the location is tucked away from all the hustle and bustle. one can truly unwind and enjoy the tranquillity offered by the cottages, which are clean and cosy...

These cottages are very nice. We actually got upgraded to a two bedroom, two bath cottage without asking. Would be very romantic as is very isolated but I was there with my son. About 40 minutes or so from the South Gate of Yosemite. Five minutes from a good sized town of Oakhurst. Definitely off the beaten track but sky...

Folks, where do i start. From the time i booked my reservation & my entire stay was a life long great experience. Its worth the effort. Especially that I'm a city boy from Chicago, it gave me the Camping feeling, a home & knowing its always property management onsite was very good

A short drive to Yosemite, but away from the hectic tourist areas. Small, quiet cabins out in the woods (watch for the open range cows when driving). Clean, nicely furnished, full kitchen, comfortable bed. The inneepers were friendly, willing to offer suggestions for things do to (thanks for Nelder Grove), and where to eat. I can't recommend it enough.

Very clean cabins that felt new. Quiet surroundings fairly close to Yosemite and other places. I liked that it was in the middle of nowhere. Wifi was a little iffy but overall I liked our stay. Enjoyed the breakfast being in my own cabin was able to eat on my schedule.

We enjoyed the peaceful, quiet atmosphere. It was great to stay in such a serene place after hiking in Yosemite all day. It was close enough to several great little restaurants plus the cottage kitchen made it easy to pack lunches. The continental breakfast was fresh and delicious. The orange juice was yummy!
