Stopped at this hotel whilst walking the TMB with Ramblers Holidays. Took a taxi down and back from the TMB route. The only complaint about the hotel was the heat with no air conditioning. Had cooled down for us by the time we went to bed so not much of an issue but others said it was too hot. Breakfast buffet was fine. Close to the centre for places to dine out, Lidl close by to stock up.

My 6 year old son and I stayed here in one of the rooms on the ground floor (room 11) for a week during our ski trip. We had a large room which was for disabled access so larger than most rooms. Bed comfortable, room always warm controlled by a radiator in the room. huge bathroom with great shower and plenty of hot water. The hotel always smelt nice either of croissants cooking, the smell of laundry or Arolla pine!!
The owner Jean-Michael was so helpful and a really engaging man. His English was great and he certainly takes pride in his hotel. Breakfast you had to order night before consisted of croissant, baguette, a couple of cereals of choice, French toasts, yogurts, tea coffee hot chocolate, fruit juice etc. Personally I found breakfast a little heavy because of the baguette and would have preferred some ham or even an egg or normal bread to be able to have toast....but it was certainly plentiful and kept us going until after lunch. The hotel offers a laundry service which Jean-Michael did for us which was such good value. We hired a car and was able to park on the hotel drive all week which saved parking fees. The only thing the hotel lacked was safes in the rooms. I would 100% recommend this hotel and would 100% stay there again..

Only stayed here for one night as part of a ski vacation but the proprietor was very friendly and the room was small but clean and nice. I didn't get breakfast but my friends said it was good. Location is good if you are travelling by bus or train, about a 5-10 minute walk from the station. The manager went above and beyond in helping us get a taxi booked for the next day - we had no French speakers so that would have been tough!

We only stayed one night in this hotel and would not recommend it. We were with a group and others had larger rooms in the back but ours was a tiny room right at the front of the hotel, on a very busy street. Unfortunately, the room was also very stuffy and all night we alternated between opening the windows to get air and closing the windows to block out the street noise.
On the positive side, the bathrooms were renovated and the breakfast was good quality, with great croissants and coffee.
Unfortunately, the main reason for a hotel room on a hiking trip is to sleep and this hotel did not provide a good night's sleep for us.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel two nights - one night before departing with a trekking group and on our return for another night. The proprietor couldn't have been more helpful with restaurants, things to go and on our return offered his washing machine and laundry room for all our smelly trekking clothes. We had two full loads which he put into the machines and then he let us know when the machines had finished so we could decide what things could safely go into the very hot dryer. In the end we decided not to put anything into the dryer and he provided pegs, line and coat hangers for us to use and leave them to dry until the next morning. He also did not charge us for this service, although we did leave him a tip in appreciation. There is no air conditioning in the rooms although it was cooler in the breakfast and sitting room. Breakfast was fresh and delicious although fairly basic - warm flaky croissants, fresh white crusty rolls, three cereals, yogurt, soft cheese triangles and nice coffee. Thank you for looking after us so well.

The hotel is 300m from the station, less than 5 mn walk. There is no lift in the hotel. There are 2 rooms on ground floor (1 for disabled people), 4 on first floor, 5 on second floor. Best regards.
