I wrote to Mark Warner over 2 weeks ago giving them a chance to reply before I posted this review. Needless to say, I have not heard a word back. It is a shame as Mark Warner used to be a real quality company and we have used them many times for both summer and winter holidays. What follows is...

Just home from a fantastic week here. We knew the hotel was going to shabby and it didn't disappoint! But the location, kids club and weather still made it a great holiday. As a family with two kids age 5 and 7, we opted for a large family double at the rear of the hotel. We weren't bothered by Scotties...

We knew that the hotel would be somewhat tired before we arrived from other reviews but we were very happy with the hotel. The staff are great, so obliging, happy and keen to help. We found the meals to be good quality with evening meals having a choice of three starters, main course & desert. Even bottles wine were provided...

Do not stay here unless desperate to waste money. Good points, position, staff, food (although often cold) Bad points too many to mention, sockets hanging off walls in bedroom, when you open the wardrobe the lights go out, carpets in bedrooms disgusting, a bathroom which to get in you have to half open door shuffle round then try and get...

Staff very pleasant but decor is out dated. After a few days of putting up with some sleepless nights (piste bashers on until 1.30am!), I heard a buzzing noise coming from the overhead light fitting and noticed 5-6 flies flying around it and, on closer inspection, found dead ones inside it. This was at 11pm on the wed . night....

This Mark Warner hotel is in a great location for ski in/out at La Plagne centre. They provide buffet breakfast, afternoon tea and cake and the evening meal with wine. The food was mostly very good, you have a menu too choose your evening meal, which varied daily, only thing we would have liked was more daufinoise. We found the...

Basically this hotel needs a serious overhaul. As it stands it is ok and is so well situated that it can't help but do well. The Mark Warner staff do bend over backwards to make your stay comfortable and they should be credited for that. The hotel was really cold for the first night and with a baby that wasn't...

This is the first Mark Warner hotel I've stayed in. First the good points: it's next to ski slope/lifts and the staff are friendly. I booked the holiday online and the next day a nice man from Mark Warner phoned to check through the booking and ask if I had any requests. I said I had read about the noise...

The good points first; The best airport transfer we have ever experienced, both to and from Grenoble to La Plagne. Treated like valued customers, not cattle as is often the case. The Chalet is very close to the slopes with ski in convenience, the staff were friendly and professional and the other guests friendly too. The bad points; As others have noted,the...

Mark Warner provide breakfast , tea and dinner including wine. Food was fair at best, and would not recommend. Location for slopes good, with near ski in ski out at la Plagme Central near Becoin lift Ski room very basic, and room only for skis, boots had to be carried and stored in bedroom, which is a pain when on...
