Martine, the owner, is a very nice person and always want to discuss about your latest hike. The place is clean and quiet. If you choose to have dinner there, meals are pretty good. The hotel is pretty cheap.

This is a comfortable hotel in a quiet town, at the end of a quiet street. Rooms are small but adequate. Very clean. Owner is very helpful and polite. It is in walking distance from nice cafes and restaurants in town.

This hotel is excellently located, just off the main street. The hotel is basic, and had a strange smell on entry, sort of mix of bleach and musty, not bad just odd. The room was just adequate, it was warm, clean and there was plenty of hot water. The double bed, was extremely low and had clean, but had old...

La Maison Blanche was the only hotel in the town for an affordable price (it actually cost twice less than any other hotel nearby). We have got the double room with big comfy bed and nice balcony. The room was clean and warm. It also was quite large and had a lovely view from the balcony. There was a common...

Just back from a week in La Maison half board. Hotel is basic, but adequate for a week ski break. The pluses - warm comfortable rooms, small but adequate with good shower facilities. Dinner was excellent all week. the minuses - the breakfast was terrible - limited choice, stale bread and lack of refills. Bar is limited, as is public...

We spent a week here with a group of friends. The owner is very pleasant and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are very clean, spotless bathrooms and towels are kept fresh. The pillows are a little hard. The hotel is in a very quiet spot but still very close to the town where there are some good shops and...

This is a small family run hotel off the main square of the town. It is tucked away, so hidden from any noise and bustle. The building itself is charming and the rooms are spacious, clean and well appointed. Most of them have balconies and some of them have balconies facing both the Chaine d'Aravis over towards Annecy and Mont...

We travel a lot in France and often find 2-star hotels there less than adequate, but La Maison Blanche was a pleasant surprise. St. Gervais-les-Bains is a charming town next to Mont Blanc. It's not as expensive as Megeve or Chamonix, which are both nearby. From St. Gervais it's possible to ski over a vast area in winter and hike...

La Maison Blanche is located just off the main square in St Gervais, one minute to the bus stop for both ski bus and the coach to Le Fayet and Les Contamines. Our strongest memory of the hotel is the friendliness and hospitality of the owner - always pleasant and helpful. We did our best to speak French, which we...
