Booked this hotel with Snowcoach, skiing with a very large group, the hotel food is basic but just what skiers require. The staff are great and they serve the evening meal and eat with you, unlimited wine and great company. I would recommend this hotel and holiday to any skier.

Valmeinier is a fantastic small ski resort for intermediates. L'Aigle Hotel is basic but clean, the food is very basic, cooked breakfast consisted of Porridge, Hash brownies with either sausage or baked beans, although plenty of continental type items. The evening meals are basically one pot meals - those you don't need a knife for ! The staff are fantastic...

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review following your stay in December, As advertised we offer 2 hot options at breakfast with the addition of porridge every day, I have however since spoken with the chefs to increase the variety that is offered. The staff team in resort are working very hard and I am pleased that their efforts have...

I booked with Snowcoach to stay at the L'Aigle over Christmas 2016, with a family group of 5 sharing two rooms. Snowcoach is a low cost ski company who offer a good package for very reasonable prices so it was an unexpected pleasure to find our rooms at the hotel to be clean, recently refurbished, well heated and well equipped...

My family and I had a wonderful New Year ski trip, staying at the Hotel L'Aigle, with Snowcoach. We've holidayed with this company before and, always found them friendly and helpful. The Hotel is a two minute walk from the slopes, and is cosy and comfortable. The only downside to our holiday was the fact that the so called Green...

After visiting the hotel and resort for the ski season we were keen to visit in the summer. The hotel set up was pay for room only with meals additional cost (ski season has meal inclusive price). This worked really well giving us flexibility for exploring the stunning mountain scenery. The small team of staff at the hotel were just...

We stayed here with Snowcoach for 5 days in early April. Family with 3 teenage boys and one of their friends so has a 6 bed room comprising two singles and two bunks. The hotel was well set up for skiing. Only a few minutes from the lifts. Boot room was a bit dark but lots of lockers. Food excellent,...

A good basic value Hotel located in a beautiful part of France. Having stayed at this Hotel twice before in winter for skiing we chose to revisit in summer. Valmeinier is great for walking and cycling in Summer and good for Skiing in winter. Hotel L'Aigle is situated in a prime location in the centre village overlooking the slopes and...

Having stayed next door at the fabulous Carrotz Hotel, I was a bit apprehensive about staying with snowcoach. I was right to think this.! A simple quick transfer from the airport was the only positive thing about staying here. On arrival the reception area was heaving, not with check-in but with other guests in shorts, PJ's lounging in the area...

We have been on snow coach holidays as a family or group of guys over the last 5 years. There style is simple, great locations, great value and great staff. It has and always will represent the best value for money to ski. I'm sorry to read some of the lesser popular reviews. But save up a little more and...

I returned to this hotel for the fourth time because Snowcoach offer the best ski package I have come across. Drive down the M1 to Watford, park at the pick up point just off the M1, get on the coach with skis, boots and bags, plug in earphones and snooze. Best trip so far arriving in Valmeinier for breakfast, and...
