The best for us Brazilians is to be treated in our native language, a phenomenal affection by Brazilian G.O.’s.
On the day we arrived, the first to attend and already make us feel at home was Fabiano, who already directed us to the central reception, where we met Igor, grateful surprise, Uncle Igor who had played with my son at the MiniClub in Trancoso/Brazil.
From there we had a pleasant surprise of making a fantastic upgrade to the third floor, where at the reception of the Lodge from the 3rd floor by Théo, amazing person, even in their hours rest worried about whether we were well, then we felt that was at home.
At SKY Shop, another surprise the great Eduardo, stamped figure of ClubMed, good people and super trained in choices and care for beginners, which is not my case kkkkkkkkk.
At the Bar Jessica, with her charisma and smile that stay there, leave friends around. Now a place where we can leave our children and enjoy and the MiniClub, but that was only but amazing with the presence of Uncle Marco (Vulgo Jesus) who takes care of the children with love and affection, which highlights how much he loves what he does. In addition to the Brazilians, we had the grateful surprise of being served by GO’s Manonn (Lodge), Thibaud (bar), Ani (greek), José (Spanish) and the Portuguese (forgot his name) of the 1st floor restaurant, and finally the girls Caroline and the others who do not remember the name who took care of the organization and cleaning of the rooms of the 3rd floor (Lodge) were all too many,
The summary of everything I felt at home. Thank you very much, thank you!!!! God bless you for taking care of my family.

Our ski instructors were great, big up to christof and clement, who looked after 11 of us in 3b and 9 in 2a, they also got us meeting up at the end of the day for a bit of apres, wonderful guys!!
Jerry and his team did fab, they managed to get us all on the same level and our room attendant was wonderful, thank you..
Cocktails in the first floor bar lovely, and a nice place for a chat before heading to dinner, our area was reserved each evening which was fab, as the kids new exactly were to head if another cocktail was needed for the adults upstairs.. all in all it was an amazing week, good luck to Jonathan and Jerry in Turkey, 🇹🇷. We will miss you next winter xx thank you all so much for welcoming us “home “
Cheers jo xx
The meals offered were of high quality, with a team of international chefs who offered a very wide variety of dishes over the week. A large part of the dishes are cooked fresh in front of customers. The menus are organized to satisfy as many people as possible with classic offerings that delight the youngest (bolognese pasta, pizza, fries, etc.) as well as the most demanding (foie gras toasts accompanied by chocolate and vinegar crumble). raspberry, etc.). We were also able to see the efforts of the teams to limit food waste as much as possible. The multiple snacks available during tea time and the big snack are also very popular. The classic breakfast served in the main restaurant is extremely complete with also freshly cooked dishes. The late breakfast at the Laiterie restaurant offers a more limited choice but also a calmer atmosphere.
We would like to emphasize the most important element in our eyes for this stay: the kindness and exemplary professionalism of the entire team led by Jonathan, village manager. All members of the staff work hard night and day to satisfy customers' requests with unquestionable kindness and a never-failing smile - and this despite the at best impatient and at worst frankly disrespectful attitude of certain customers towards the team. . The dynamism of the collective is undeniable, with results - particularly during shows - truly impressive. Our daughter, very shy, let herself be completely immersed in the atmosphere - special mention here for Constance (aka Grenouille) who brought stars to our daughter's eyes, a thousand thanks!

-GOs tend to avoid GMs and eat in small nooks and crannies to avoid bumping into anyone or even shoving past us at restaurants,
-the organization to sign at the beginning and end of the kids club is deplorable not to mention some GO who rub shoulders as if we kept the pigs together,
-The shows for the children were really not great, this is the first time my son does not like,
-either soap or paper is missing with the broken hand dryer in the shared toilet,
- the buffets in the restaurant are disorganized and the room staff sometimes spend the meal time folding towels or blocking some accesses while the club was full,
– our room staff took the fly because I complained that he had made his works with a duvet (self-made bed) and my sunglasses directly in their box,
- many children are totally left to their own devices in the buffets with a little boy as young as 3 who ate directly in the aperitif buffet (without any relatives around) or a little girl who tried to help herself with ice cream running in the different buffets...
In any case, we’ve been going to the club for years and this is the first time we’ve seen such a lack of cohesion in a GO team with a clear Impression that no one is leading the boat. It's a shame especially as the club was open for 1 month 1/2, it was not the week of opening or closing.
The pluses: the GOs in general and specifically those of the teen club, the hiking guides, the canteen/bar staff and the manager who undeniably invests everywhere, you turn your head there.
The least: the rooms are large but with a very dark and sad decor, maybe it passes in winter but not in summer. The club is generally overcrowded compared to the size of the infrastructure: the week of August 12 it was still going on, but the week of the 19th it was unbearable, armored swimming pools and gym, restaurant worse than a Sodexo canteen, with the queue, the noise and the people going in. The spa is not great, the place is generally very beautiful but the massagers are a little new. When in addition you are offered to change your appointment for a schedule that costs more and that does not arrange you to have a woman masseuse and you still end up with a man because “Someone has made a modification, it is weird” frankly this is not acceptable. The sports teacher is very nice and offers good lessons unfortunately too repetitive. I did the same movement yoga class for two weeks. Another comment about the rooms, the polytechnician who installed the hair dryers clearly had to be bald. It’s impossible to dry without sticking your head to the wall, don’t even hope to do a blow dry. Evening shows quite average, clearly the GOs of this club med do not have a good choreographer and are not great dancers. Important to know, the club is overcrowded with children under 5 years old (The commercial policy of Club Med is incentive) you have to appreciate the concept... The Restaurant on Reservation La Laiterie, good fondue but the staff is overwhelmed (While there were 20 tables, 4 waiters and a single dish...) And finally, one detail surprised me: there is a very strong religious community in this club med in particular. So far, don't worry. But that religious ceremonies are performed in plain sight on the 1st floor in a very busy place, close to the restaurant and the gym, with men with ostentatious signs, frankly it has no place in a holiday club and even less in France.

One staff member who stood out was Matteos —he was not only approachable but also very engaging and fun to talk to.
The snowboard instructor: Stephane.J, was highly skilled and exceptionally patient. He paid great attention to detail and made sure every participant felt well cared for.
The hotel rooms were cozy and comfortable, and the views of the surroundings were absolutely stunning. The only slight drawback was that the shower water pressure could have been better.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend this hotel!
Thank you to the Lodge team for supporting our instant board games! Between bursts of laughter, imitations, strategies and questioning of rules, you have shown golden patience.
A big up at:
🃏 Vivien, the player: thank you for your warm welcome and good humor. Sharing these moments of play with you was a real pleasure, and your participations added a special touch to our evenings.
🍸 Nick, the mixologist: your custom cocktails have brightened our evenings. Thank you for listening and your creativity behind the bar!
⛷️ David, at the service: always available, with an infectious smile. Good ride on the slopes, we hope you enjoy as much as we do!
♥️ Special mention to Khadija, the magician of our room: thank you for taking care of our cocoon all week. You really made the difference, and getting back to a spotless room after a day of skiing was a joy.
🫶🏻 A thought and a big thank you to the teams at the reception, at the bar, in the room, behind the stoves, etc. You helped make our stay pleasant.
Also, some areas for improvement:
– House style music didn’t really convince me. A taste of déjà vu, a little repetitive and above all, not adapted to the public.
Club Med animations deserve a little innovation to be modernized.
-The pool... we would have liked to relax there but it was much too cold to take full advantage of it.
Thank you 🙏🏻
The private space in the ski room is also very nice. Very successful and quality Gold Platinum evening.
Apart from these positive ratings concerning all the services relating to the luxury range, the main area of improvement is the catering which is not equivalent to other snow clubs. Far too much redundancy, almost every day you will have tagines with all sauces, couscous, merguez, vegetable soup (sometimes inedible because too salty). The presentation of the dishes is not qualitative and the dishes offered are far too Oriental access every day. Note that the last evening we had grilled lobster. A club like Valmorel which is 4T with a 5T part should have a more qualitative catering.
Very pleasant fitness room with quality equipment when it is not busy at peak times by the GO GE.
GO team not close enough to the GMs (apart from the lodge where the service is perfect). It is a shame that the GOs do not share or too little the moments of conviviality / lunch and evening meals with the GMs. Jonathan, the village chief must work on this point as well.

First of all, the village met our expectations both in its location within the village of Valmorel but also by its beauty and its perfect integration into the overall architecture of the place.
The mountain activities are diversified and carried out by service providers who do everything to help you discover this magnificent region of the Alps and its landscapes.
The Club is very functional for getting around, easy passage from the restaurant to the bar facing the theater, easy access to the pool and room, especially if you have young children (which was not our case, but I recommend this club to family)
A shuttle service is available to take you easily to the village with regular trips around every 20 minutes.
Underground parking is available upon payment, there is actually no possibility of parking near the club, possibly further down in the village itself (around 15 minutes on foot)
The club swimming pool is functional, it has an indoor and outdoor space.
The gourmet restaurant is very nice with a very nice waitress Maria who is always smiling, you can reserve it once a week during your stay, a cozy space to enjoy an aperitif before a meal was also nice.
I would now especially like to tell you about this GO team which contributed to our stay being great, a small mishap on Samoens which made us return without hesitation to our first destination of heart.
Justine and Jerry, thank you for your welcome, everyday smile and kindness, the moments shared during meals leave us with excellent memories and much more...
Maeve and Fanny, the store could not survive without you and your unparalleled smile towards customers.
Maya and your kindness, you are a ray of sunshine, and your accent that brings a smile.
Huseyin, very dynamic with eyes everywhere to help you and serve you during meals.
The sparkling Louane with her golden voice who presents the wine to you with a smile, so young and so dynamic.
Sarah and all the others that I forget, but who contributed to the success of this magnificent Club Med stay.
THANK YOU AND THANK YOU to you Jonathan Abadie for your dynamism and this great GO team

The buffet is amazing, the service impeccable, the GOs are all of a great kindness ☺️, everything is well timed to keep only beautiful memories, we feel that the teams are happy to work in this establishment. The attentions in the room sound very appreciable (bottle of water for baby, welcome gift etc .. ).
If I were to make only one disturbing point it is the warmth in the rooms and the fact that unfortunately some nationalities are sorely lacking in politeness. We recommend and will come back ☺️
