My wife came here for a week and it was 100% pampering, indulgence, service, food, wine, aperitivi, sun, swim, swim, sun, aperitivi, sun, swim, food, wine........ Probably the one of the best ever romantic couples holidays I've ever had.
We agree with all of the positive reviews. The caveat is that this hotel is in no way set-up for families with young children, so please don't make the mistake we made - do not come here if you have children.

We chose here after reading glowing reports on Trip Advisor and indeed the hotel is popular with returning guests, however we found the hotel ,especially the rooms to be in need of renovation and re furbishment. In its favour the hotel is in a lovely setting...More

Hi Sarah, there are beaches at the resort it's self, there is one at the port, plus there are a couple of private rock areas with lounges that are hidden along the resort grounds, but there is also a almost hidden public beach which is almost directly access from the resort grounds which is only a few minutes north along the water just as you get to the resort boundary you will find it, very nice and nobody seems to know about it. But while you are at Hotel Capo D'Orso, you should definitely take a day cruise on the 'Pulcinella', this will take you to some beautiful beaches/islands on the costa smerelda. Check their website and look in 'excursioni', day trips.
